just a question.. can this game be compressed lower than 1GB or can't since it will lower its graphics badly if its compressed that low?

Interesting. It means "unconsciousness," so I thought it might be a clue, but I guess not.
Since you are also a clue person. Do you know if the elephant poster in protags room means anything? It has a number sequence on it. I assumed it was an album cover but when reversed image searched all I found was another vn using the background. So it's probably nothing but I still noted it in my "this might be important sticky note on my desktop."

Also do you just know Japanese or do you translate everything you see and is texted in the game? I have done all the hex conversions by hand and the cipher but I couldn't be bothered to do so with moon runes and am curious if I missed anything important. Plan to replay the whole game and make an actual notepad of events trying to figure out what is going on so I probably will translate the moon runes that time around.

I hope to see one day this game rules in entire gaming industry, of course we got others products that are wayyyy bigger and ahead of this one, but meh.
How to VN 101. -Insert famous game review thing
"So edgy, much story, religion = deep, Mental illness = Good character + deserving an Oscar." -Insert generic professional game reviewer thing
10/10 would worship again -IGN

To be honest I think when this game has had as long as the others, it'll be the biggest game on this site. With the amount of content that Selebus creates on a consistent basis, needless to say, he's the best around. Others have a headstart, but this game is more than catching up

What was the other VN? Selebus has worked on at least one other project, so it may be a reference to that.

I know Japanese so just automatically read everything that pops on screen. There's unlikely to really be anything important in Japanese in the game, as Selebus doesn't know the language. The only thing that comes to mind is the names of Ami's parents, but I assume you're already familiar with that.

I've worked on a bunch of VNs, but I believe he's mentioning Nothing is Beautiful, which is my only other solo product.

I know conversational Japanese and hiragana but I'm still absolutely horrible with kanji and have to double and triple check myself whenever I do add it to backgrounds (Which I have done on multiple occasions, just not the hallway kanji you mentioned).

The elephant poster is part of the map, and the map itself is part of Koikatsu resources, so this is why you might have found another VN, because probably another VN used this map too

Was it a HAPPY place?
Quite. A little too happy for me. Sel has weaponized an entire cult of people to follow him. Praise be.

But in all seriousness, the discord was a little too much for me. I'm not a big discord person myself so I'm not used to how things work and all that. Plus I don't really wanna advertise I'm a degenerate out to the public, I can keep that stuff over here.

Anyone knows if there's a way to unlock all events without fucking up my save data?, like having them all in the event gallery without changing my progress (not the H scenes)? I think I've lost some of the events but I ain't going to replay 30 hours of gameplay.
Not really? Missing events can actually influence future events, so you can't really see everything in one save file. I recommend liberal use of the skip button and multiple save files. Just keep in mind that nowhere is said that seeing all the events will lead to the "best route".

I personally enjoy living through my choices. I will just replay LiL for other routes in a trillion years once its finished.
You technically can, it'll just be a nightmare to do that since some choices won't pay off until like 20 hours later.
So yeah, best course of action right now is just living with the decisions you make.
There are like 400 events right now. It's okay to miss some.
Technically you could change whatever variable controls the event's status using the console, but this does run a pretty good risk to your save. There really isn't a way without fucking up the save once it has an event listed as a certain status. At that point, you run the risk of fucking it up if you attempt to make any change that sets that status to a different one. There is only one surefire way to not fuck up the save and unlock everything and that is to get everything right from the start, which is the nightmare Selebus is referring to, I'm pretty sure. Not an easy task by any means, but the best way to do what you want without the risk.

You shouldn't need to run the whole 30 hours even if you were to take the hit and play through the missed events again. There should be a save somewhere that occurred closer to your current point without the missed events. Try the auto save section of the load screen, should be the A category to the left of the page numbers on the load screen.

BLASPHEMY, we cannot miss a single event. God wills it.

Praise be.
Absolutely not, it is my mission to make this happen at all costs, even if I must bear the pain of lying to one or more of the girls.

Look, I know you're going to make me regret lying my arse off to Karin at some point, but that you're going to let me forget about it first is truly monstrous.
Truly the most evil of methods, letting our own acts eat away at us until the very moment when karma comes calling. :p

So far I have only missed one, and I am pretty far in the story, I think. I replayed that subsection over and over when that alert came up for, Rin but for the life of me could not find how to get it too. It was Rins Love Life Let Go.

Love your game by the way. I shit you not when I say this is arguably in my top 5 of all time, and I don't mean VNs, I mean like it's up there with Darksouls for me. I just love the concept of the overarching plot and I love how I came for porn and now whenever something lewd comes up I give 0 shits about it now and more about looking through the scene for hexadecimal codes, partial ceaser ciphers, or listening to amber alert messages for clues and important numbers.

More importantly do you have any merch? I would love to support your game and get a creepy smiley face shirt like Tsuneyo has. Edit: Probably not that color scheme though, can't pull of hot pink. Would buy one in black and white or black with the smiley in yellow though.
That is no easy task, nice work. This game goes out of its way to make you fail at every turn, the most common strategy in my case being the correct choice being the one I myself would never choose, Karin is a prime example of this. You'll know when you see the event I'm referring to, no spoilers here.

If Selebus had merch, I would be out of money and would have to cancel my subscription for a short while to recover. I am not joking when I say I would have my walls covered in said merch as soon as I could get my hands on it, or an equivalent for electronic merch. I would literally buy everything, every single item on sale.

Btw, it seems like 15.1 is gonna be another release without a leak here. Uh, congrats, Selebus!
That's actually pretty impressive, just a few more days and we'll see if that comes to pass. It's like people are gaining such a respect for the game as to not share patron only builds nearly as much as other games get hit with it. I do hope that it does and that instead comes an equivalent influx of patrons.

That's generally a good thing. It means it's an incentive for people to donate to Selebus, which will result in that juicy 'Lessons in Love' prequel! Who wouldn't want more LiL?!
Yes please

Honestly, it's for the better. Despite me pirating every leak and playing them "illegally", I don't feel bad when it doesn't leak. It's not like Sel has terrible update and release policy, 2 weeks ain't even that bad compared to other devs. Sel's making it really hard for me not to be a future patron.
Exactly, there are some developers so bad, some even resulting from an intentional act, that pirating is the only real option. Selebus makes it very much the opposite. It is so well taken care of that we instead feel that it isn't necessarily worth pirating, which is not to say that it is too bad to pirate, it's quite the opposite. On a pirating forum like this, that is no simple task and not that many games get treated like this. It is absolutely worth being a patron, I do not regret and cannot foresee ever regretting becoming one.

Yeah I think getting 1-2 hours of gameplay every 2 weeks for $5 a month is a pretty fair deal.
Indeed, at this quality, you could give us half an hour and it would be worth $10. There is very little that could detract enough value to make the game no longer worth the cost and I cannot foresee what little could cause that happening in your hands.

Oh I definitely will, probably will sub too,but since I have you ear can I make one suggestion/request? Can you give a little more frames of prep time with flashing static messages? I have been doing a windows+shift+s to pause the screen to read the message or uncode the hex, but sometimes the message or image starts at the very start frame of the flash and timing it is insanely hard. It's either do it over and over trying to catch it or the more painful technique of flipping back and forth between the two scenes with the static in between to flash the message over and over to try and read it. I have had to do it a few times and I swear my eyes were about to bleed at the end of it. Unless there is some other trick to do this.
That last one is what I do, rolling back and forth to read it word by word, those messages are quick.

Interesting. It means "unconsciousness," so I thought it might be a clue, but I guess not.
While it is part of the map by default, it does fit quite nicely and does sort of clue us in on some potential plot points.

Good idea on the sticky note, you never know when something seemingly harmless is actually an important detail.

Quite. A little too happy for me. Sel has weaponized an entire cult of people to follow him. Praise be.

I just keep it as a separate account and only ever use Discord for degenerate stuff anyway. I've been over to the Discord a couple times, though usually only when I need to get to Selebus about something to do with subscription benefits. I think the last time I was there was when I first signed up. I just keep this and the SubscribeStar open at all times to get any information.

This is why having the dev being the person setting up the thread is a bad idea. 0.15 has long been out but we won't get an update since the dev won't let it drop. Maybe set up another thread with different person so we could actually get the update??

That would change nothing. The way this site works is that mods update the thread when people provide them with links. They won’t have anything to update if people don’t give them anything. I have no control over what does and doesn’t get posted here.

How is that a bad idea? You're getting the developer to interact with the community, and not say "fuck F95". The absolute least you can do is wait the two weeks until the public release.
