This is pretty fucking sad honestly but this game is one of the few things I actually get excited about anymore it's just that great. The characters, the humor, the story they're all perfect I love it. If I wasn't a deadbeat rn I'd support this game wholeheartedly but for now feeling guilty about enjoying potential leaks is the best I can do
Agreed the story is damn interesting, I actually just subscribed today even though i nowhere near caught up to the current. i was but then decided to restart do a Rin Snafu and been going through it much more methodically this time, still skipping shit i have scene but trying to give each girl her due.

I could say similar as I am technically one myself, using what little I can spare to support and already looking into trying to free up more to raise my support tier. It'll all work out eventually, I'm sure of it, for both of us.

Maya and Yumi events were incredibly good, maybe too good as it's hard to go back to liking other characters who haven't had incredibly good events.

Each update just keeps topping the previous one though, nicely done.
The impact of that one dorm event for Maya, I'm actually scared for her sake now and the wallpapers shared earlier bring flashbacks of her face as she tries to smile for our sake. It took only that one event to make me that way and this was a character on the lower end of my favorites list, in 7th out of 10 as of my original signature, which still needs altered to include the newer additions that now have images for signature use. I do hope everything works out and nothing bad happens, but who am I kidding, it is a Denpa game, their fate is almost etched in stone as something negative. That one event had as much negative impact on me as "Delirium" did with Rin and "Delirium" was one hell of a whopper with the whole delirious, smiling boob flash Rin pulled. I don't think I'll ever forget either of their faces, absolutely terrifying because I know they are hurting incredibly bad inside emotionally and I just can't help myself. I want to pull both of them into a warm, loving embrace and tell them everything will be alright, but I can't. I am completely helpless as I watch them suffer and for once it is driving me crazy. Never have I felt this strongly about fictional characters, LiL is the very first work of fiction to open my heart to its resident characters so completely. I'm also a bit terrified of Yumi's wrath, but I know it must be done. If I am going to get closer to her, I think her mother is my only hope and patching their relationship is my only path. If I must hurt her in the short term to gain her trust in the long term when she finally realizes that what I did was right, so be it, I will take that bullet willingly just so I can see her finally drop the attitude and be thankful someone else was finally there for her when she needed it most. I know she has Chika, but she doesn't seem to let Chika help her either, so help must be forced on her.

Just copy the contents ("game" folder) in the Lessonsinlove folder (inside there will be "game" folder too (and lib and renpy folders and exe for the game), merge it, confirming the swap of similar files.
Yea I did that, but the new events aren't loading in the progress tab or the events tab

This game is special, and it should be talked about is hushed tones and respected as one of the best told stories to every grace the halls of pornographic video games, not lumped in as another thumbnail alongside an assortment of hundreds of trashy model-swapped jerkfests.
This review man... I can't. So fuckin pretentious lmao.

Way to go Selebus!

Somehow this update was the best updates so far IMO,surpassing even Rin's whole

You never fail to amaze me. Thank you so much.
I wouldn't say surpassed, but it sure as hell equaled it and that is no small task. Selebus really set the bar high with Rin's "Delirium" event and I wasn't sure when it would even be reached again let alone beaten, but he reached that bar like it was nothing.

Pretentious, but true. This game has earned high praise that should last for a very long time. Games this good are not common even on the AAA side of the industry. Good games, sure, but not this good. This is on a completely different level. It isn't perfect, as expected of a human creation, and it does have several faults that cannot really be improved because they are entirely subjective and fixing them would create the opposite fault, but it is one of the closest games to perfection to have ever come into existence. Beating even the big boys in quality is definitely something to talk about with great respect and I could name an entire page's worth of AAA games beaten by this game off my memory alone.

Oh, it updated.
Yeah, Selebus preempted the leakers and put it up himself, at least that's what he said not long after it updated to 0.15.0 part 1. That said, that makes this technically an official public release, not a leak, so if you've been holding back against playing leaks, I think it is safe to play this one since the developer releasing the public update early technically doesn't count as a leak.

Forget morals of playing leaked or not, I'm being stopped by something unnatural.
I can't bring myself to play this at all~~~

I also do a update UltraCompressed version of the patch to [v0.15.0 Part 1]

PS: I personally do not recommend this version to play. This is only for people who do not care about quality and just want data size to be small. Do note that UltraCompressed Version is only done by specials request.

Recommend JokerLeader's Compressed Version for Higher Quality Gameplay.
YAY! thank you so very much :D

Just played the new update, damn, i feel really bad for Maya, looks like she is broken inside.

The event with Sara on Bar, that's just sad to think about it, she love to run that place, but thinks will never be the same again, there is only pain.

The event on the hotspring are hilarious, meet with another 5000 years old wizard. Another event on that place is having sex with alien Chika.

Yuki, no wonder sensei feel intimidated with her at first, but deep inside, she love Yumi.

Yumi love ice cream, i wonder did the ice cream love her back?

I have two UI suggestions:

1) The multiple choice dialogs are visually unpleasant to read on black backgrounds (on weekends midday and evening). I suggest adding a neutral (seasonal) background image.

2) In the main girls and side girls windows I suggest adding two subtle small indicators on the overview. Maybe a small exclamation mark to indicate an unread message/pic and something else to indicate unfinished events.

I have to say that Where the Sidewalk Ends was one of my favorite things to read when I was a wee youngin'.

2021-05-01.png
Friendly Passerby: "Hey buddy, looks like you took a nasty trip there, you okay? Lemme help you out real quick, and you'll be right as rain. So uh, what happened there?"

Person that isn't Sensei: "I just wanted to see what it was like to crater into the ground, so I found somewhere I could hit terminal velocity."

FP: "Well buddy, watch out, because you might land on someone, and then there'd be two bodies needing theri bones pushed back in."

PtiS: "I'll be sure to give people a heads-up before I hit the ground."

*both laugh hysterically*

Several times playing this game I have desperately, *desperately*, wanted to take control of Sensei, and make him say or do something I did not have the option for (or had no options to do anything at all at the time, which is even more common). This recent update had so many of them. I hope very much that somewhere at the end of the game, in the eons it will take us to get to the "true end" that somehow, somehow, all the girls end up with good happy lives, because they all damn well deserve it as far as I can tell.

just realized, that the psychological element in this game made it feel like Doki doki literature club.

Hopefully it doesn't end the same way.

They're both the same genre of game, denpa. I wouldn't go expecting a happy ending if I were you.
