I'd wait for the "new update" if I were you. It's been in production for over a year now, and a lot of people are doubting whether it'll come out, but you might as well wait

This is one of those games where half the girls have interesting stories, for me, and half could die in a housefire and I wouldn't care much. So I'm not all that invested in grinding through hours of content I don't care about to connect with the content I do. LiL is pretty enormous at this point, content wise, and the game is definitely among the best of its genre. You're absolutely correct in the fapability, but the more I play these the less I really worry about that.

Without restarting (save at the end of Part 2), is there a way to view the new revised content for some Ami, Ayana, Makoto, and Futaba? I thought that was supposed to be available in their replay menus, but it is greyed out.

Load your Part 2 save, advance past the "There is Nothing" screen once, and they should be available to view in Replay. At least, that's how it worked in the previous update (before chapter 3 started).
Hey, well...
i used the wiki, since i had trouble progressing on my own at some points.
now i am at the main event ,, There is Nothing ".
i have done everything the wiki told me i had to do and double checked that i really got all the main-/side girl events as well as the happy events.
still it wont trigger...
i am stuck litteraly and feel like the game bugged out.
does anyone know what to do? do i have to resatart on a fresh save?
Edit: i mean the next event i have yet to see is ,, There is Nothing ". sry if it is written in a misleading way above.

Was Futaba's animated boobjob scene in the dorm removed? I finished all her events up to Overload but it's still not available.

IIRC they requirements for that event is essentially "clear every Chapter 1 event"
Ignore the guide for now and look at the event tracker for every one of the girls and make sure none of them have any uncleared events above the dotted line on the list. For happy events make sure you have Trinity part III and everything above it.
If you still can't trigger the event then I have no idea what's going on.
I got no main-/side Girl events missing and got happy events to trinity part III thats why i am lost. thx tho ^^
Edit: i am stupid... thought i had checked al girls but somehow i did have spoken to futaba on a tuesday outside her dorm door. that had locked me out progressing haha. thanks mate.

Finally getting back to the spot I was before I lost my saves and... I just realized I like almost none of the students you've actually fucked by the second beach trip. Ami is a cardboard cutout with no personality outside being a yandere. Ayane is irritating AF and if I was sensei I'd never associate with her in any way. Kirin is downright evil and deserves all the bad things to happen to her. Chika is better than the others, but that's mostly due to the depth given by her situation with Chinami and to an extent, Yumi. And Makoto is just... sad. So very, very sad and pathetic.
I find myself skipping scenes with the aforementioned people more and more as the game progresses. The "Yuritopia" crew (Rin, Otoha, Nodoka) is boring. Individually each has intriguing characteristics and I like them as characters, but as a whole... jesus. How many variations "I'm unable to function due to hormones", "The situation makes me awkward but I'm cool" and "Yes, I am a pervert, one who never does anything" can you get without it being repetetive and boring? not many.
At the same time, I look forward to any scenes with Futaba, Yumi, Sana and Io. Touka is weirdly endearing. Uta is a delight.
Maya is still the best girl. Hell. Trying to figure out the whole deal between Maya and Sensei might be enough on its own to keep me playing.
Tsuneyo is kinda there. Yasu is insta-skip. Molly has potential but this out of nowhere "I am hopelessly in love with Rin"-shit drags her down.

You had a like until I hit that. Maya is basically the entire reason you're trapped in this endless loop. Then shes a complete bitch to you with you having zero clue why, the entire time she knows *exactly* what she's been doing and the scene with Noriko makes her the villain of the entire story. I'm team 'Maya can die in a house fire'.
What can I say. I like the mystery. And unlike everyone else, she isn't instantly head over heels with Sensei, atleast not outwardly.
'sides. Not telling you why she is a bitch got explained pretty well. Having Sensei short-circuit when she tries is a good way to dissuade it.
My whole theory is basically that this is Maya's purgatory. Original Sensei died/jumped, Maya prayed for a chance to make things right... and got a response from the wrong god and thus she is forced to relive the same year time and time again as a punishment.

Why? I find her to be the most intriguing character at the moment (though I think any H-scenes with her are a way off). She might know more than Maya about what is actually going on. I don't normally like religious people but in this game it seems like her god is real. Looking forward to the 5 Yasu events in the next update.

The pseudo-religious babbling isn't half as interesting or clever as Selebus clearly thinks. I tried to pay attention to what Yasu says but her dialogue just bores me. It's just layers of bullshit heaped over not-so-subtle allegories and teases about whats really going on.

This is the only good ending this game could really have. Your ending is now Canon. Maya is being punished endlessly. *like of Maya increases 0.000000001*
When I read the conversation I was just like... Ok... she was an unlikeable bitch, now shes irredeemable... It was a risky move on Sels part, if you think about it. Because shes front and center through so much of this narrative.
This. I said it before, I'll say it again: the game does serious mental gymnastics trying to justify it's own depravity.
