any chance you can spoil which? been looping for the last week and cant get River Styx
I really dislike room 8. Nodoka acts all mighty with Yumi despite being alive only thanks to Tsuneyo (twice), and Otoha is so liked and admired by everyone only because ... she's a good musician? I really can't think of any other talent or even personality trait of hers
Pretty sure it's friday but you may need a Nodoka event before it
Man having to constantly edit your save file to not miss events is getting annoying.

Friday, but you have to do some of Nodoka's scenes first.
First, do the first 4 of Yasu's new events
Then Nodoka's 1st event
Nodoka's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (4th is flag-dependent and may not play at all) will trigger automatically
The next Friday will trigger a chain of events for Yasu, Nodoka, Makoto, Maki, and Haruka. More events will play out automatically over the weekend, and one last scene during the week. This will leave you with one last Maki event. Invite her over on the next Sunday.

She's supposed to be cool looking and smooth. Look, Sensei can't even play guitar and does a terrible job at hiding his bad character traits - still well liked. In this context, is it really surprising that Otoha is admired?

I wanted to say that 50% of population have penises, but significantly less people play guitar, but realised that there's like 20 men left in the city, so I guess big penis does beat guitar, yes.

Is there a way to recover a save file if you accidentally save over it? Gut check says no, but I would really prefer to be wrong here.

Eh, Yumi's life was hell from the getgo and while that doesnt justify what she did to Futaba, it does make it commendable that she was making genuine effort to change. Then Nodoka just ruins everything because of her selfish need for revenge. For anyone who hasn't decoded Yasu's text in that scene -- here's the decoded text. Uses a vigenere cipher. Key below. You need to decode it line by line or otherwise make sure you get it aligned right, otherwise the text still comes out garbled. I think the key helps confirm a big aspect about Yasu's religion that many of us had suspected.

Nodoka drops to D- tier in my book, only saved from F because she did it out of a misguided sense of revenge rather than for shits and giggles like some other brunette I could mention.
It would've been cool for Sensei to raise the stakes and threaten to call Futaba down to the locker room if Nodoka didn't turn over the picture, but I suppose it wouldn't fit the tone of the game.
There are no characters in this game that I genuinely dislike aside from those two, and I actually somewhat liked Nodoka before. There aint much lower than sexual blackmail. This update was full of stomach turning events

My main save, the one I've had since I started playing shortly after the beach trip, has been overwritten. RIP. My own fault for not paying attention to what i'm doing.
Silver lining: It got me to finally start working through the reworked content in earnest. Just finished Room WIth the Clocks.
