This would still be trivial to bypass. The only real means that would be legitimately difficult to crack would require server side stuff and that would require him to setup infrastructure that is not trivial or cheap to procure or maintain.

I feel like mass reporting his discord is the nuclear option, to fuck him so hard it threatens his willingness the continue making the game. I might laugh my ass off at his meltdowns but i personally don't want to go stirring shit up so far the game stops being made. As I have said before half the people here don't care about the game, they only care about the drama they themselves create, it's sad and I have no doubt they'll be playing a different tune if this game ever gets discontinued.
