I'm starting to think the estimated end date might be pushed up a little with more info being released. If chapter 4 ends next year we should be heading into the dark route by 2027. Sel said the purity routes would take him 2 months minimum to complete and Chapter 6 being the shortest chapter with an estimated 6 months of content Lessons in Love may wrap up by 2028.

Addon: Sel said every character will have a h-scene and the purity routes have guaranteed h-scenes I feel some characters might get their first h-scenes until their purity route.
2 months EACH, not 2 months total. 35 girls @ 2 months each = nearly 6 years.

And that is why we pirate kids!

Pro-pirate sentiment aside are you even surprised? Milking your patreon has become a stable for porn games nowadays.I would be geniunly surprised if Sel of all people was an exception to this rule.

To be fair Sel does actually put out good stuff and somehow hardly ever slips form the release schedule. Plus at least is upfront about years of milking to come. There are other games out there that have been going on for years inconsistently putting out slop every few months, that somehow still have plenty of patrons/subscribers.

I will use this occasion to present a marriage tier list, based solely on very objective factors.

I see your wife tierlist and I raise you an old and "totally accurate not at all tinfoil compilation of a lot of theories joining together into an Arakawa potential family" tierlist (that I just had hanging around but forgot to post):

If someone didn't pick up on why a character's where they are, they're missing a few tinfoil theories. Or maybe you've picked up on everything? Curious to see who's completely up to date on our tinfoil discussions.

Who is the third “daughter”?

Who is the third “daughter”?
Kanon from 'Grow Old. Then Die.' She's the MC's sister in Sel's side project game that never came to be, but showed up in LiL's 'Rain King' Happy Event.

One of my tinfoil theories, I think:
Kanon:

Tsurumi and Kanon are from 'Grow Old. Then Die.' Which seemed to be a side project set in the Multiverse, that never happened, which would have had Kanon (who didn't have this name) as the MC's Sister:

Tsurumi would have likely been a Love Interest for the MC.

On the other hand, the glitched out character is Saki from 'Nothing is Beautiful', along with Miu; the red head with twin tails and blue eyes, and Yuu, who's point of view we have during that event. Saki seems likely to be Sensei's/Akira's (MC of 'Lessons in Love') mother, and Ami's grandma. Yuu is heavily implied to be Sensei's father, and Ami's grandpa.

In theory: Kanon and her brother may have been intended to be Sensei's kids (Cycle continues, etc), but there's nothing that confirms this.

It's kind of messed up how many of these could be copied into other tiers. Sekai: Mother/Sister/Girlfriend/Onahole.

Maya is also straight up unofficially adopted by Sensei. So: Daughter/Girlfriend/Sex Toy/Fated Lover(?), etc.

Even Niki has a big sister mode for Sensei, and Otoha has been seeing Sensei like a little brother.

Then there's the "Everyone is Sensei's niece through his brother" theory.

Oy.

BTW, any thoughts on the "Everyone is an Ami clone shapeshifted into looking like a classmate meaning all the girls in class (at least on the first floor) are Sensei's shapeshifted Niece/Daughter/Girlfriend etcs" theory?:

Those clocks get me.

Edit: Added more Ami.

Truly no other girl is more perfect for Akira than the one who has been there for him all along, Desk-chan.

As a side note, I totally forgot about the other people that supposedly inhabited Sensei's body. Could someone please remind me, were there ever clarifications about who inhabited his body in previous cycles, and how much different their personalities & actions were? I feel like ever since Maya realized that the original Sensei came back, this part of the mystery was rarely addressed again.
I was going to say this. He must have realised he could set up a big 2 month cliffhanger with some big update and give him more time for side projects and couldn't resist. We've kinda shit on 0.43 for being an update to set up an update and he was about to take a vacation on a equally as important update.

And therein lies the issue with writing a story piecemeal and uploading it bit by bit - there's no editing of the story as a whole, no coherent vision from start to finish. Ideas and plot hooks get added, and forgotten, and dropped. Set ups are never knocked down, guns remain unfired because this month the author decides to change his vision.

Writing a story and publishing the final version allows you to write, be inspired by what you've written, and adapt the earlier parts of the story to fit it before anyone can see it. This is obvious to anyone, but the longer this game goes on and more varying promises get made, it's hard to see everything come together coherently.

It feels like there have already been a ton of threads that have been dropped, and a lot of us are still keeping them in mind to hope they resolve. Things like the machine Maya is in when you meet with HOPE and their angels, the dead rooster in the old half of town, things that just seemed important but have probably been pushed aside.

I hope that it all resolves nicely in the end but it just feels like there are so many things being forgotten at this point that I'll be left wanting

My personal tinfoil hat theory is that Yuu is actually Akira's grandfather, Nozomu is actually his father, but also his brother, because Nozomu raped his mother, and that's why Akira barely has any memories of her -- Nozomu and his then-girlfriend took his son and raised him as his brother (because technically true).

Do I have any textual basis? No.
Is it consistent with Nozomu's character? Kinda.
Am I right? Probably not.
