(would love a scene where she goes back to the shop and continues to cry her eyes out, while vandalizing all the dildos in the shop in a fit of helplessness and self-hate)
You got what I feel in its entirety. There is so much depth to be had in some of the situations Selebus creates and yet we're limited to a very rarely and slowly changing Akira's pov (at the speed of one snail pushing two snails up a hill).
How amazing would be to see the scene you described? For Maki to actually break not only in how it relates to Akira, but blaming herself for influencing a Makoto that would let herself be taken by a predator. Hell, make her redirect hate towards Masahiro for making her this way, and yet still looking like a hero to Makoto. How unfair would that be in her eyes during a crashout?
I'd be way more interested in that POV than skipping Akira's monologues, which has become routine by now.
Anyone else pick up on two events in particular, that being Touka at the vending machine and Maki&Makoto argument.
Both events we have someone *not* from the Rooftop Apocalypse Squad and mentioning knowing Akira for 'Years', while also having someone *from* the Squad present.
I thought they weren't allowed to understand anything about how the years have been passing or whatnot. Is my tin-foil hat on too tight I am losing bloodflow to my brain.
But Maki, while good intentioned...is not emotionally smart enough to handle that kind of fallout. It is unlucky for her that she gets no moral support, being that one friend is a predator(and the worst kind at that), the other a mother so desperate for her child to love her that she'd share her with a much, much older man. That her daughter is significantly smarter than she is, and in love with the town Super Predator.
If even one of her friends were normal, she'd have been able to do more in this situation than fall apart, and fall back to old habits. Keep in mind how often she said she is useless without her husband! How he did all the difficult things, and she needed him for those.
I wonder how far Makoto's recklessness is willing to push things. Maki's trying to do the "right" thing, but she's been hurting Makoto for so long, seemingly outside of the loops too, that she was very close to killing herself. Sensei has been the best thing in her life right lately, and actually removing him would just hurt Makoto far more than anything Maki is imagining would happen instead.
There's so much potential for this storyline.
Makoto flipping out about Maki going behind her back again Makoto, that Maki thinks she knows what's best for Makoto when their parenting style (Yes Masahiro too, even if Makoto has rose tinted glasses about him since he's "dead") drove Makoto to the point of suicidal ideation for a long time before Sensei started grooming her, Makoto revealing she attempted suicide (bonus points for saying she actually jumped off a roof), Maki jumping off a roof in a recreation of Bluejay, Makoto and Sensei being there to witness the jump, whether Sel would reset Maki back to the roof or not, the aftermath whichever way it goes, and if Maki is reset to the roof whether they test if the inhibitor is still working on Maki now)
I hope Sel can deliver, this could be a major part of this cycle and might reach its climax near the latter half of the cycle, bluejay wasn't in the same update as the reset right?
On a different note I'd like if you're right about Maki's porn career, it would be interesting if Maki's so single minded on this issue because of personal trauma, instead of being so dumb that she doesn't realise even if she's right she's gonna hurt Makoto so much more in her pursuit of trying to not have her be hurt.

Yeah, but I wouldn't put much stock in it right now. There are many instances of girls casually mentioning that they've known Akira for years or for a long time, they're just not able to recognise the problem with that. If it's pointed out they're like "huh it's only been a year I guess" or if they stop and think about it they brush it off.
Wakana almost seemed to in 'Follow My Lead' but it didn't go anywhere and it wasn't even addressed with Touka/Maki here so I doubt anything's gonna come of either instance as far as them picking up on more right now goes, particularly in Maki's case since we probably won't be seeing much of her for a while. I guess Maki finding out about the loops could be one way for her to move past Akira and Makoto hooking up though lol

They continuously make passing references about it, saying things like "last Christmas" etc.
It's when they stop to actually think about how it might be possible to know someone for years while only being 3-4 months, or having multiple Christmases in a school year that the rules of the universe kick in.
Passing references good. Activitely drawing attention to it bad.

After bullying her mother to tears, I think Makoto is done trying to guilt-trip Maki into submission. And for her part, Maki already realizes that forcibly removing Akira might just make everything worse. Simply begging him to stop was her last and only card.

Do you recall the last time her and Akira talked about the loops? (Before christmalloween) She was ready to confess to Maki purely to test the limits of the world.
And if she can start venting about how bullshit her childhood had to be, I think she's gonna take it. It's gonna take consequences for her to change on par with her jumping off the roof, having her father die, or learning the world is a lie. If making Maki sad for a moment was enough to change herself she'd have been happy a long time ago.

Sure she offered that as a hypothetical plan, and was willing to go through plenty of venting, before she knew what that would actually do to Maki. As soon as she saw the results she immediately backtracked to either grounding herself or confessing everything. Yeah fundementally changing Makoto's character would take much more than this one scene, but I don't see it as a fundemental change; deep down she doesn't actually want Maki to suffer.
Also she cares about Miku way too much to just straight up disregard her advice.
Apparently Molly's Invite Event is not modified to account for Sensei currently living alone due to both Ami and Niki moving out as a result of Sensei fucking Noriko for 5 hours straight. Fun!
It let's you alter affection values and certain flags from Sensei's computer.
It also adds a secret flag that screws up your game later, so skip the cheat codes and just use URM.
The only code you might be interested in is allcharactersare18+ for some bonus wizard content, if you don't know what the wizards are don't bother yet.
The other codes either fix bugs, or flag your save to have all its stats deleted later on.
