While a rar, zip, what-have-you file is strictly reducing the file size for transit/storage, that is not what is frequently meant by "the compressed version" on this forum. Many of the games here contain quite a few images and videos. These images and videos are the bulk of the total size of the game on disk.

Several people on this forum download various games; extract the game's contents; change the quality and color count of the imagery files; re-package the game; and make that available as "the compressed version." So it is a modified game version. Any time there is a middle-man making changes it is always possible for new errors to slip in.

The compressed version zip file and the original zip file, once unzipped, DO NOT take up the same disk space. (That said, the OP does not currently list a compressed version for this game. At least I don't see it.)

why you need a compressed version ???

Some games are just too large for what they offer, mostly because the devs don*t know better,
I have tons of hard drive space, but I also have a few hundred games on steam, gog etc.. and my hard drives are almost full, that's why I don't need several hundred gigs of porn games in addition to the rest, that's why I use a compressed version if possible.

All updates for this game worked fine in my machine. I never had a problem with save games. That's how I do:
I have a folder named Lewd Island. Inside of it I:
1- Unzip every new version.
2- Copy save folder from prior version into new version folder.

I didn't update it yet because there was literally only one choice in the new content, and if you played through the Daughter side of the day, you already know what the answer is.

Tried swiping(left,right) double-tapping.... And nothing.

Like this game. One thing that I wish that the developer would consider is reducing the size and opacity of the text bar. It should be more transparent, maybe with a dark color and light-colored text. Having to hide the bar constantly is not ideal. Just a thought.

I created a mod in which you can change Sanity and you are ablet to skip. But I also removed the textbox and changed colors to lightgrey.

Install google keyboard as your main virtual browser keyboard and you are fine.
