So I just finished season 1 and I have to say I'm not liking the direction. The move to the boat seems more liking to give more potential love interests and if I wanted a harem game I would play one. Bella's anger seems like it is going to push her towards Desmond and fuck that character. No not because I don't like sharing, I don't but not the point here. No fuck that entire character because of that godawful accent that I have to read. If some modder would fix that then I wouldn't be as annoyed at the scenes that I know I'm going to have to read with this idiot front and center.
I don't know what happens in day 11 yet but anything that doesn't involve beating every person already on that boat like we were Jack Nicholson from the Shining seems like the protagonist just doesn't realize what danger he is in. Extreme? No we just heard Mr bad accent talk about killing miss needs new shorts he'd kill her if things went wrong so they deserve it. Yeah yeah I know, just let the story play out and all will be well in the end. But this is like watching a slasher and watching the characters split up to look for their missing friends, something is up and they know it but refuse to act intelligently.
Yes I'm applying real world logic to both slasher movies and a porn game in the same paragraph. It's almost 6 am and I'm going to bed so leave my over thinking alone.
On a different note I must say I really enjoyed this so far from a storytelling standpoint. Not the actual story but the diverging paths that seem to be the same but aren't. The multiple ways the lewd scenes can play out was unexpected and to me at least a new and unique feature that made me want to play more even if the actual plot was about as predictable as rain on a cloudy day.
One thing I'm still confused on though, during one of Bella's dreams she is in the bar where the protagonist picks up the two one note females only there to add more flavor. Sorry, bad habit of that, moving on. She's in the bar and sees us leave with these women, one of whom she later saw us having sex with but she comments that this girl looks "just like me". So what's that supposed to mean? Was the model supposed to be her but never got changed? Was she actually supposed to be the girl with the two time hair but we see her as D? Was this just a bad line? Or was it something else?
