Ran into this awesome game because I liked the look of someones little avatar..Who's that?..From a game called Lexi he ..or she replied. Pretty funny. Anyway if this game is trashed I'll be crying in my morning Chilli style Heinz Beans . There are other games out there that just keep on going that are horrible and I don't know why lol

Right now my plan is to get Lexi back out of the basement and going again. The idea for Devil's Own only came up because I expected that those who were working on Lexi while I was sick would do something with it, and it would be unfair to come back and take it from them after them having releases. Obviously that didn't happen.

It might be possible for me to develop both at the same time if I find team members that I can work well with. If I don't find team members that work well with me, then Devil's Own will just end up being my next game when Lexi is finished. Either way I'll still do work on it so that it is ready to go as soon as Lexi concludes.

I don't think we will get any of that here. As I said, it looks like a redemption story for the characters (which you will probably be able to achieve or fail) and I feel, that the story will keep being consistent. Lexy is showing that she is a spoiled brat, but she is starting to realise that. MC knows he fucked up and tries to get back on track, to find a way to be a father and to be a good bodyguard, but also help Lexi become a woman (and I don't mean only in THAT regard, heh). Character development and shit. Good stuff which makes you emotionally invested. That's why I'm glad this game is slowly but surely getting back on track.

P.S. I won't talk about AL anymore, I don't want to go completely off topic with it, so that's why I put it in the spoiler. It was just an example of what I don't think is a good storytelling (my opinion) and what I don't want to happen to any other VN. Especially not this one.

I hated how Liam miraculously cured his cancer with a snap of a finger, but you had to choose which girl will die for no reason... such inconsistency.

He is already back, and it should be soon.

I have been wanting to replay this game basically the entire year, but I haven't done it. Gonna be great to see them again.

It's hard to say when the release will be finished. I started posing for v0.04 a little over a week ago. I actually did something with my time when I was waiting for my surgery. I spent that time improving my renders, and learning more about programming.

So I'm also rebuilding all the programming and variables to make the choices more functional as the story progresses.

I've also been rebuilding the gui a bit. It's nothing fancy (Bite me Canto ), but it looks a lot better than the old one, and has a nice backing track...fuck it...I wanted to keep it a surprise, but here are some screenshots so that you guys will know how to use this when it releases.

Here's the new main_menu...


If you go to the game menu and click characters, or click the Stats button in the game, it will take you to the Characters screen. The most important characters will appear here when you first meet them.....


If you click on the character image in the Characters screen, it will take you to their page. This page gives some general information about the character. Also some fields will change, for example the name of Laura's husband will display the name that you give to the MC.


The Relationship status will update as you progress with the characters.

Thoughts will change based on events and relationship.

Arousal is hard to completely explain. You must have a minimum number of points, which will only be displayed for Lexi in the in game HUD. However this doesn't mean they will be perpetually horny. For example, Lexi and Kaylee probably won't be horny while sitting in a pizzeria having a bite to eat. This feature turns on and off based on what makes sense in the story. There are three levels of Arousal. These are not the specific names, but basically "Not Horny", "Horny", and "My pussy is so wet".

Turning the girl on does not guarantee that the MC will get to fuck them, but it may award additional love or lust points. When a sex scene is available for a specific girl, you must make the right choices to completely turn them on in order to fuck them.

If you mean my health, yeah I had surgery a while back. I'm healed up and in physical therapy now. My employer let me come back to work, but gave me a desk job until I'm ready to go back to construction work.

If you meant with posing, no I have a lot left to pose. This update is gonna take a while to get out the door. I'm re-writing a lot of what Endrju wrote (it was just a first draft), posing, programming, working on the gui, and doing post work. The only other team member right now is gamersglory, and he mainly just renders and consults with me. I have to say, he has some really good ideas and I like working with him.

I think the vast majority here or potential players doesn't speak Freedom units. Cm and kg would probably be much appreciated. Also there's a typo. It's 'separated'. Same thing with the Patreon page. It's 'animations', not 'annimations'. Looks more professional when there's no typos.
