This game has inspired me to try and make my own game, just got to the point where I've finished the character creation, basic levelling system and date/time/energy/sleep mechanic and it taken me an entire day.

Now I know the pain of these devs. I keep asking people to make a game where you can be or become homeless and start from rock bottom and thought fuck it why not give it a go. See how I get on, got to start making NPCs, shops and stuff now, fun. Twine/Sugarcube has given me a headache.

How I unlock the desire stat? and how i can go topless, and where i can?

You'll unlock the Desire stat automatically after the first time you had any sort of intimacy (e.g. Handjob, BJ, etc).
You can go topless at the beach and at the pool & sauna.
In order to be able to go to topless you need to have a liberty stat of at least 30 or a dignity stat of maximum 55. For the pool your dignity needs to be a little lower.

Pretty nice game. Reminds me a bit of "Escort Dreams", which was another fun HTML game but sadly has been abandoned.

Also yes, I like the mid liberal waking up photo so much I made it my avatar. Wish you could change them though, I like it way more than the third one.

I played through the flower shop route first, ended up walking the streets at the end. Second run was library, I've played for 200+ and everything is fine. If you get too much desire you can masturbate during work but you don't get caught.

I like that you can have one night stands in the club, shame you need low dignity for everything else. Grinding the sauna can get boring after a while. For example I wish you could have sex in the showers without needing low dignity, and without needing to be a "whore". Like if you have high desire and you see a guy masturbating you can ask him to fuck, or if a guy asks you instead and you have high desire you can accept.

Everything else is tied behind dignity anyway, but those make more sense because it's outdoors.

Life Choices has loads of variables. And Lizzy does not need low dignity for everything. Granted it helps, but it is not always needed. There are many, many moments where several variables are checked.

So, there are a lot of events that check for the stat dignity, but in many of those cases it will check for other stats as well. Often it will check for combinations of stats as well (like Dignity + Morale lower than 100, or, Intel lower than 15 and Cash lower than 20, etc). In any case, if you'd play the game with dignity on zero and the rest at a 'normal' number, You will probably see a lot stuff but you will miss many different outcomes or choices that may or may not lead to the same end result. So really, you cannot say that you need low dignity for everything else. On the contrary

Having said all that, I keep trying to expand choices and possibilites on all kinds of events in order to make it feel less and less one stat heavy, which it isn't, but it seems that way too often perhaps and I try to get rid of that idea.

I am eagerly awaiting the next update o f this. I think this might be my favorite of these types of games.

BurningSun man you do you first and formost. If you have stuff going on in your life we will understand. You don't owe us or anyone else anything. You are making a real well crafted game. I enjoy playing it, you have done a great job and you release it for FREE. Don't let a few people pressure you into anything. I would just ignore people posting like you work for them or something. If you need to step back and take some time off please do. When or if you feel like you are ready then come back.
I hope things get better for you.

I agree with this - a good way to turn a fun project into misery is to listen to entitled people who feel that they have the right to spew negativity because your FREE game does not perfectly match their interests, and on their timeline. Ignore the negativity - it will do absolutely nothing but take your energy.

Real life should always be the priority.

With that said, looking forward to the next release.

2) The event in town where Lizzy meets a group of bachelor dudes that ask for her panties is an example where dignity is not checked at all! All checks and possible outcomes are based on either Liberty, Morale, Intellect, or a combination of two of these.

Was wandering how to get the scene where she got fucked by the dudes there lol.
I got that scene once and then never again lol.

Hey no worries. The fact that you feel like most of the smut is based on dignity is already an indication that something might be wrong, even if there are a lot of different choices/paths. So if anything, it encourages me to build in more options not based on Dignity alone.

I like the game, but I find it a bit annoying that loading a save to view a specific scene again doesn't work since it will always generate a random enocunter again. So you have to load and load and load until you are at that specific choice again, to see the different outcomes of the scenes. A bit annoying and a terrible grind, but eh. Hope it could get fixed or something.

Are you using the very latest version? V0.8.6.3? That bug was present in V0.8.6.1 & V0.8.6.2, but was fixed in the last version. Or at least I thought it was and so far everyone that mentioned this bug was in fact using an older version.

Yeah if you really want to see a specific scene that is tied to a random number, it will be hard and unfortunately for you that will never be 'fixed' as there is nothing to fix really. It is working as intended. Of course if you save right at the beginning of a random event and then load it, it will renew the whole page, which means that the event is also reloaded and therefore a different event can and probably will pop up. That is something I do not control, that is just the way the platform works.

You don't have to reload. You can just sit on the screen the scene would usually appear and press F5 to reload page. You can do that in the shower for example, or beach to get different pictures when you sun bathe or the pool when you swim.

Girl Life has the option of not having those things at all, which is chosen at the beginning, no carefully avoiding situations to avoid the content, you just click the bubble when you create your character.

I'm finding it very difficult to get started with the game. In particular I can't seem to get the character's Looks above 10, and makeup seems to have no effect. I did manage to get her to tick along just barely breaking even with the cleaning job, but then the rent got put up and I couldn't get the money to pay it.

I must be doing something wrong, any ideas?

I think I might know what can be the issue. At the right side you can see menus like stats, inventory and some other (don't know what else because I don't have the game open.) Anyways one of the menu allows you to toggle on and off some stuff like wearing panties and using cosmetics, lipsticks. You might have those toggled off so when you apply makeup nothing actually happens. See if clicking on them and trying again helps. Also money can be a tough thing in the game. If it is your first play through you might want to try it on easy to get used to the game. Also make sure you have enough money for the rent. Rest of the stuff you can go without, but not paying the rent game over. I generally try to stay always above the rent and only buy stuff if I have extra. Other thing you might need is cosmetics because some jobs don't even let you work unless you have a certain look, but I think cleaning early doesn't really require that.
