She made it very clear that she had recalled old employees and changed the way the game was released, no longer using the Patreon method and no longer accepting monthly donations.
The team switched to the Steam method, creating behind closed doors and releasing all work at once upon completion.
English is not my native language, and I don't even use English in my daily life, but I can understand what she is saying.
The ability and patience of USAredneck to read a complete article is even less than that of people on the other side of the ocean?

She hired 4 extra people and one old one came back...., only 4 until another one is done with their own game, whatever that might be.

They won't release anything until Season 2 is ready to release and probably all at once on Steam.

The best version to play is 0.8.1, before the remake, after that you can paly the latest steam version to see the last episodes.

Ah i remember this game being the first 2 adult VNs I did a sub for on patreon. I stopped for a long time and coming back to it now it seems like nothing has changed. Content has been added but its at a crawl over the last 2-3 years and its been reworked multiple times for no reason. Shame, it really was one of the best VNs out there at the time.

Yup, dev started out with a good premise, great main characters, then wanted to turn the game into a clone of BADK or something and then kept flaking out. Shame, because if he just went with what he started with and stayed consistent this game probably would have been huge.

Now I'm wondering, how did the launch of the game on steam go many months back? Was it well received or just meh?
Maybe whatever feedback it got is telling of what happened to the DEV's future going forward with LISC.

I got sidelined working on my own game as I am waiting on a new computer, so I have been rewriting/coding this game as a sort of fan edit and mainly working on the writing, making it linear but still involving choices, and trying to make it not seem like there were so many rewrites. I used to love this game so just working on learning the coding part to avns and not being able to render currently, I felt like this could be a fun side project.

When you uncompile it, it really has a weird amount of paths and folder divides so I think it is fair to say they might have got overwhelmed while trying to adapt with all the changes and keep everything in a story that works. There are images included that I have never seen and must have been from an earlier release.

There is also an awkwardly long audio file of a sad cat meowing in an alleyway that plays for way too long. I left the scene up where they go see Dave the first time, while I was working on something and ended up thinking there was a cat stuck in a wall in my house

Probably not really abandoned. But it has been over 3 months since they posted anything on patreon. Hopefully the dev will show some signs of life soon.

yep no idea why he started doing rewrites over and over again and changing the genre from semi sandbox to linear to choice based back to god knows what. Realistically this game spent a solid 2 years just doing different versions of the same thing before any meaningful content.


Real shame cus it was really nice. I think devs don't understand we don't play Badik just to find another badik. Its like eating an entire cut of wagyu its just not going to hit the same after the 4th bite.

He probably wanted to make the game safer for patreon and he also wanted to put the game on steam and for that he needed to make changes to to the story
