so when he was working alone he released like 3 updates in a row in like 3 months each, then he hired more people and the game pretty much dead
I don’t believe he has hired anybody at all. There’s no teasers/ progress updates on his page for four months being published

Did you actually read that statement in its entirety and understand it?
She made it very clear that she had recalled old employees and changed the way the game was released, no longer using the Patreon method and no longer accepting monthly donations.
The team switched to the Steam method, creating behind closed doors and releasing all work at once upon completion.
English is not my native language, and I don't even use English in my daily life, but I can understand what she is saying.
The ability and patience of USAredneck to read a complete article is even less than that of people on the other side of the ocean?

She hired 4 extra people and one old one came back...., only 4 until another one is done with their own game, whatever that might be.

First up: our team is growing! Thanks to the success on Steam, I’ve been able to put together a proper dev team of five incredibly talented artists. One of them is someone many of you already know—Fenriz is officially back on the project. Along with three new amazing additions, we’re setting up a rock-solid pipeline for what comes next. And there’s one more person I’m super excited about: a very talented friend of mine, who’s currently wrapping up his own project. Once that’s released, he’ll be joining our team as well!
—but billing will remain off until we’re ready to deliver major content again.

Going forward, thanks to the support we’ve gained from the Steam release, I plan to keep Patreon billing off by default unless it’s truly necessary. I want to make sure you’re not the ones carrying the burden of development. You’ve done more than enough already.

They won't release anything until Season 2 is ready to release and probably all at once on Steam.

Development on it has already begun, but it’s going to take some time to bring it to life.
