So recently I heard there's a 4.0 patch out, it's nearly 2 years since I last checked this thread so I'm kinda lost here.
Can you give me a quick rundown on what I need to get for 4.0 ? If it's not available in English yet then the latest English version is okay too.

You can use PC saves, but you can't use a 2.0 save with 3.0 and so on. Some are linked to here or there's one taken from the 3.0.22 port here.

Unless your playing the port from Himiko-S (or JoiPlay I guess) you probably don't, as it'll likely be in a protected place.

Not yet, 4.0 is potentially still undergoing changes, so it wouldn't be smart to try to translate it only to have to start over again every change.

Himiko-S definitely made a Spanish version of 4.β.16, that is a beta though and not the new 4.0 version. There's a page for it
