First download is just the game no translation patch, second has the translation patch installed (and it's the modded one).
In your old games folder you can find two .sav files move then over to the new games folder (one is games saves and the smaller one settings), if they're from 2.5 that should be all you need to do.
No the save doesn't matter.

Hi I played this game ages ago and apparently this game gets updates time to time I was wondering if there were any new plot related content updates like say doing anything story related(like interacting with the waitress or the clothes shop owner lady) after saving her from dying

Nope. The modded version of the patch adds in a little fan made interaction with Aurelia, but it's only a little. Depending on how long ago you played there may be a new sex scene with Sylvie.

That's the roleplay mods memory. At night dress Sylvie in nothing but her old rags, the roleplay option should then show up with the usual ones like to bed etc.

Other than that, there's a whole genre of games like this called "trainer" games. Some of them lack the romanticism and cuteness factor but that should give you some ideas of where to look.
