The most up to date versions are in the opening post, the second set of downloads have the patch already installed. If your monitor resolution is over 1080 try lowering, that can cause some glitches.

dumb question but im very new (found it 2 weeks ago) to this game. is this game still being worked on? and if so, is it by the dev or the modders?
Yes, the Dev is still actively working on this game. You can see a few of the changes he's implenting on his twitter, like the closet overhaul, but his work ethic towards the game is he works on it when he feels like it. There's no strict schedule for updates.
That's great to hear im not that into the h-game scene or even the anime scene but I would burn the world if it ment sylvie would smile.

First download is just the game no translation patch, second has the translation patch installed (and it's the modded one).
In your old games folder you can find two .sav files move then over to the new games folder (one is games saves and the smaller one settings), if they're from 2.5 that should be all you need to do.
No the save doesn't matter.

How do I unlock the night shop? It won't let me go out alone at the evening on tick 6 or 7, I can only eat out with sylvie

You need Sylvie's lust to be over a certain amount for the night shop, around one hundred and twenty.

Hi I played this game ages ago and apparently this game gets updates time to time I was wondering if there were any new plot related content updates like say doing anything story related(like interacting with the waitress or the clothes shop owner lady) after saving her from dying

Nope. The modded version of the patch adds in a little fan made interaction with Aurelia, but it's only a little. Depending on how long ago you played there may be a new sex scene with Sylvie.
