Will give it a try later on today. I'll see if I can build it as a 'DebugGame' this time instead of using the normal 'Shipping' preset - it would contain more tools and info to debug. Thanks for all your help.

Cheers, one of the issues I was having earlier (before the Linux build) was building the source from an earlier version of UE so perhaps now you've moved across, with a bit of work I can start building it myself on Linux and we can start seeing what the chances are of a proper port

Build successful (DebugGame preset), uploading now - should finish within the hour. The whole build process took about 70 min, but this is mostly because I cleared out Derived Data Cache from last time and Unreal had to recompile all the shaders.
Got a few non-fatal warnings during the build, but pretty sure same warnings appeared last time too:

I have been having a great time playing Lifeplay. I was wondering about something. Would there ever be a chance that we may see a bordello or strip club in the future?

- So apparently the Mom had her son, gain 2 siblings out of nowhere....

- Transition from taboo to bf/gf...... Does the newly bf/gf move out of the house (and drop all traces of being relative?).
Also if doing next step to married, still no trace (events whatever) to the taboo? Having events with other npc's react to something seems odd, could been cool.

Also the event with turning boyfriend. Don't recall the text 100%, but the "eventhough we haven't known each other for a long time" or something along those lines, was kinda a bit out of place

Then just use the ingame option to edit the stats and cheat? Its a slow progress if you want to play it without.

Well.... most of the events leading up to the bf/gf path on the incest path, is obsolete/void once that stage is reached.

True, though there are other non-sexual family events (like the family dinner one, for example) that they ought to still be eligible for.

On the other hand, it probably should given room for some new unique ones.

I know before the bf/gf event there is that "oh dear, got pregnant with relative" moment. Is that void once become bf/gf? Idk.

That one actually does still trigger, interestingly enough. Though in my case I'm pretty sure I actually got her pregnant before we went official, so maybe it was just triggered then on a delay or something.

Ironically, that's one that actually should be replaced if you're dating/married... it's presented like "oh shit, we screwed up" - but in my case, hey, maybe I want to have kids with my wife, dammit

It does lose a bit immersion, and feels a bit like "insert generic NPC here"....

Yeah, that's basically my whole gripe here - don't get me wrong, I love that there's now an option for incestuous dating and marriage - but unfortunately as far as the game's concerned, it stops being incest as soon as you ask them out. Which IMO kinda defeats the purpose (at least partly)

Yeah, after I revamp the job system and add a few career paths over the next few versions, I can rework the sex worker path using the new system and add these.
There are couple of events in the game where you visit a stripclub with a colleague / relative.

Maybe making fitness determine if the player or npc can have have rough sex or not, the more perversion the player or npc would always prefer rough sex

That would be great! Since starting the game I've always thought about using a strip club job to get into adult sex industry and having that as a way I can become a porn star in the game.

I think it would be nice to have a small town to play in. I really don't need all of the clutter of a major city, just a few of each main type of POI and I'll be good. I have only skimmed the names of all the maps, but all of the cities I am familiar are quite large.

Could you add drugs and maybe some forced prostitution? being able to buy and sell drugs would add a different way to make money/spend money that could have some neat consequences, maybe even make a generic prison map that you could be sent to if your caught doing something illegal like selling drugs or what not

That maybe a bit too extreme for Vinfamy as he no doubt has his limits he will NOT Violate for any reason there was a developer in Patreon I know that was asked that very question for his last game he said NO on The drugs part and the forced Prostitution and wouldnt budge either and was respected over it by his Patrons for his stance myself included

Thanks! Sorry for the time between posts, I'm travelling at the moment.

Those warnings potentially explain the black face bug I encountered which needed me to force Vulkan. I'll have a play with the new build over the next day or two and let you know. Can't remember my default renderers off the top of my head.

This works flawlessly on Ubuntu 18.04 with nVidia 396.54. No errors or crashes, and didn't need to select Vulkan, had a quick play and seems identical to Win.

To the point where if you build the Release Build and it still works, I'd just put it out with an unsupported caveat.
