First time playing here, But I have fatal error so often that I just have to stop, 100% ctd when I try to add new relative. Playing with female character and some custom texture but other than that, no mods installed.

Disable the Old-Young Module. My game crashes when a woman appears, I turned it off and it didn't crash anymore

Somehow the current build (without mods) seems to work differently for everyone right now.
For example, I have no problems with disappearing hairstyles or clothes.
With a male MC, I can play anything, young or old. Swinger works, dating app, sex within the family and and and.
However, the game still bitches at me when I try to create a female MC. And that's a bug I haven't read from anyone else here, or gotten a response to my message regarding this.

I mean, that Button in Settings is there for a reason. And when people mark it, they dont wanna have gay scenes. None.
Thats what that Button is for. So why not just respecting this in scenes? Everyone whos not ticking that Setting, can have your gayscenes.
Or you make it as extra Download, so everyone who wants it, can have it on purpose. I mean, theres no reason why you need to force it, even 20%.


I have a feeling it isnt, cause without you cant use Aphrodisiaca and Rape Drug on Partys. Last time i tried without it didnt let me Spike the Party with Message i need "Better Pregnancy".
And with it, its working. The other Features may be obsolet. But that part isnt.

It will stay like that, if you don't like don't use it, you are the only who complain...
I never saw in setting "no gay content"
But I agree that the scene is popping too much (not supposed)
If you are not gay like me, just say to him to take off his hand or when he say "Can we continue", just say no, that's it!
Also the NPC is generated automatically as a male, so he can be asexual, bi, gay, straight or trans.

When you throw all mods into one, not easy to do that, right? Thats why i made the suggestion to make the gaycontent own package/download.
Or mod the scenes, so they respect the Setting. Then it wouldnt matter if the scenes are there or not. (I know, you wont)
Its not the first scene(know the neighbors?), and maybe you will do more. Thats ok.
Just give the choice then, if wanna using that Content (without loosing whole Mod with normal scenes, or having workaround every time with deleting the specific files... and however they named hard to find.)

NPC respect orientation only came out in the last year about. I'd say yeah, those instructions would need to be updated, unless a longer term modder would know how to do it.

I still can't tell if lower means fewer random or higher is fewer for that number. I know I already set it to 0 and still got them. Back when new neighbors were moving in like every 3 hours, even in the middle of the night.

Like Grim said, lower means less random events firing. Have no idea why it does not work for you as it definitely makes a difference for me.

I mean what the hell, the game is loaded with 3-some and gangbang content where you WILL end up in sexual content with men, some of the positions force it. Not only that, there's a repeatable quest to make female/trans NPCs become lesbian/bi and I don't see anyone bitching about that despite it being same sex content. Actually kinda wondering why there isn't a reverse option to turn males gay to be honest.

as to the 2nd, I see where Vin's going with the Old-young thing as it looks like moving the needle in either direction will eventually influence the generation of NPCs in accordance with MC preferences, although as I can't see it in action since I rarely play male MCs I don't know the scenes/choices that will move the needle, but it's clearly going to be something like the Sub/Dom stat in action. in other words the more old people you sleep with the more old people you'll GET to sleep with. as to younger it will be less obvious, most of us play MCs that are fairly young and with the 18 soft cap (I've had an NPC show up that was shown as 17 once but I didn't get to see what happened with it as that was a save that got corrupted by an update) how much younger can they really go with the generated NPCs? and no, I'm not expecting Loli content to be added as it's too close to kiddie content and that's just a big red flag to any authorities that may monitor content.

I want to make a mod where a horse follows you around and comments on it's surroundings what is sees and what you do with snarky, rude and ackward comments.

it has to be the horse as humanoids would just be stalkers and the dog is to meeeh/boring. it also key that the horse do not get any eeeeh funny ideas with you or your companions.

edit : i see a 3rd problem, can an actor talk with out pausing the game

Agreed on everything.
Even if you DO have a sexual orientation sign on your forehead, gays might still try it (I have my fair share of experience on this regard lol). The scene probably aims to that.
A gay character approaches yours, and you have the option to turn the offer down, or be curious. Simple.
Want your perfect world? delete the scene, even simplier!

Hum, I don't think the game gives you more of what you want.
I play a sub, and the doms don't appear more often.
The sub-dom stat is taken into account to decide the actions during sex, and this "new" stat seems to be geared towards initial attraction, more like gender/sex attraction (example, a NPC that likes females, won't give you her/his phone if you're male or trans), and if they want to initiate a relationship. It could be handled by perversion, like sex poses or bestiality *shrug*

yeah, I didn't mean you Fuzz, you were just last in line at that point of the conversational thread. but as to old/young, what I meant was like a gauge where dead center is even, your actions cumulatively (although lets face it, most people will just edit the stat) will have an effect on the "NPC interest" (initial attraction, possibly rapport as well) in this case. you're right, I doubt it will affect the mean age of RNG NPCs (although I haven't read the code, it certainly could be done) but it may tie initial attraction. and his release notes clearly indicate that those generated by your lover(s) WILL be affected from Vin's comment about their "unusually attractive parents"/grands, etc. although TBH I haven't had ugly ones pop yet even before the module. and I'm not running it ATM because I'm playing female/trans MCs. if Vin throws a bugfix in the next update I may try it, I certainly add MILF relatives because I like that kind of content. so in that respect it's like sub/dom, yes perversion COULD handle it but giving it its own stat makes it more focused.

Oh, on that note, we need to add a relationship to the NPC thing for niece/nephew for the incest triggers. after all, RL that's still close enough to set the authorities off so I think it counts.

Sounds like a glitch in the game's programming if that's the case then even the world's most powerful computer would probably not be safe from unexpected hats
