Great. Now you just spoiled that Denise doesn't die and Macy doesn't kill you in the current version.

Actually, you're both wrong.

Denise is clearly alive and well. She is working on her game as we speak.

Macy however... she got kidnapped by the bear. She now bears the bears offspring. They're a happy little family.

So, I know what the extra drawings on the pictures mean. I think I have an idea what the wrench means (scene is done, now testing for bugs?) But what do the little gallery portraits mean? The ones that have a dotted frame with what looks like mountains in them? I don't remember seeing an explanation for them. I am just genuinely curious, because I find this way of showing development fun and intriguing.

Monthly wallpapers. They're my little reset moments, that let me put the characters in some fantasy setting without having to worry about story and continuity, and to focus on tackling some complex visual feat or technical challenge and hone my skills in ways I wouldn't get to in the day-to-day production of LomL.

Sorry about your dad as well. Know the feeling and it just is horrific to go through.
For the hot and heat part. I just had to go swimming with my daughters and if there ever was a time to quote danny glover it was today. "I AM TO OLD FOR THIS SHIT" my body hurts in places i didn't even know i had...

But on the other side my youngest told me something very interesting other than she wants to write as well. Handed me her phone and showed me some stuff i won't even pretend to understand in this day and age but at the end of the conversation she asked something i think is perfectly represented in the game.

Since her mom and i are no longer together she asked about moving on and how it feels like betrayal even if it isn't. How do you as a child try to not judge the new partner of your parents in a negative way the moment you meet them? Is it something you do naturally or is it that you are jealous of some sort cause you think that new someone will take your parents away?

I explained.
Same goes for when your daughters have a boyfriend or a husband. You fucking hate that dude. He could be the president, the scientist who cured cancer or even the guy who found out how we all can be immortal. You just hate the dude for similar reasons. And no that feeling never goes away. You will hate that guy for as long as you live and beyond.

So we discussed this for some time and at the end all my daughters sat there and talked about it. Obviously different opinions on the topic but the main consens we established was that literally everybodies first reaction is jealousy out of fear for taking someone you love away from you.

Only way to counter all that hate and jealousy is by spreading love around the family and erase the notion that someone could take someone you love away from you.

I brought up this game as they all played it.

They think the main goal should be Brooke as new step mom and all of them living a healthy, loving 4 way relationship like old mormons did once upon a time.

On the other hand they hate the office ladies because they do not represent love but jealousy. They want something from the MC they seem to not have or miss in their relationships and not concerning the damage they could inflict once this goes out. Literally the worst case scenario if shit goes sideways and you destroy maybe not just your own family but 3 families in the process.

Brooke on the other hand did nothing immoral in that regard other than flirting or banging a man with no strings attached. So to them Brooke is the lesser evil that could become a gift of some sort for the family as a step mom.

The fascinating part however was them talking about lot and his daughters. They explained you could argue that before Lot found a new wife that could be even worse than their mom in terms of listening to god they took it upon their own duty to ensure giving birth to a new generation devoted to god instead of worse case scenario and they get another women like mom who won't listen to shit.

OR that purely out of jealousy to see their father with another women other than their mom they took it as their duty to ensure his manly needs are satisfied and giving him more healthy children he could teach about the devotion to god while also ensuring the love he has for them would never stop.

So 3 main reasons for them doing what they did. Devotion to god, jealousy and love.

You could start arguing the same about the story of the game. Macy for sure is jealous towards brooke and denise acting purely out of love for her family.

Like in the story of lot and his daughters you have 2 daughters who aside from the bible story and the devotion to god are acting out on similar reasons as they did. Love for one daughter as her driving motivation and one out of jealousy not wanting to see the MC with another women than herself out of fear she could lose him forever.

Edit: Sorry for the long post but i'm half beat to death here and had to get this out of my system before i forget half of it.:ROFLMAO:
Somehow this thread fell out of my notifications list... I hadn't stopped by for a while cuz I traveled and maybe missed it in the 100 notifications I got. It's funny how people get all these feelings of jealously as I've purposefully avoided LTRs my whole life and if I ever got into one it'd have to be non-exclusive... and not in that douche-y way some guys do where they really mean they just want to fuck around and have the girl be faithful, I mean actually non-exclusive.

It's interesting how people can feel that even in platonic relationships (maybe parent child is different, but if my parents ever got separated and new partners I wouldn't care as I don't much like one of them won't say which, lol). But like with all the incest games where it's a pervy brother and they hate all their sisters' boyfriends, I can't relate, I've been friends with all my sisters' serious boyfriends... I think it's cuz I associate monogamy with religion and the invention of patriarchal land ownership as a concept among humans, because we didn't evolve to be monogamous and that's obvious from the rate of cheating/divorces in most countries, and the lack of monogamy in a lot of extant tribes that have matriarchal systems or don't practice exclusive land ownership...

The point being I've associated monogamy/monoandry with religion and patriarchal property laws from a broader anthropological context since I was in like high school, and the dudes all over the internet, here included who scream "cuck" and "no NTR!!!1!111!" just reinforce that for me, so it's interesting seeing coherent explanations of that sort of jealously in the context of consuming a porn game with detailed, reasoned explanations from multiple genders... I also hadn't really been thinking about the office ladies from a gorgons/fates/sirens perpective, pick your poison, so that's a good observation from Dragon59 or whoever noted it originally.

I think you are misunderstanding something very easy, no one will give a fuck about their real-life sisters even if they like incest (liking incest in games doesn't equal to like it in real life), when it comes to a game is different because those people ( including myself) want all the Li's whether they are landlady, mom, sister or roommate.

As someone with a big family i can confirm this. We all love each other and hate each other from time to time but thats a line no one would ever cross for obvious reasons. Daydreaming about certain stuff sure is all fun and games but if it would turn to a reality it would be a horror show for everyone.
Incest in games? YAY gimme gimme gimme all the waifus that we can get.
Incest in real life? HELL NO are you freaking INSANE????

Alot of these games have to do with phantasies or trying stuff out. You may like some things and dislike other things but this is a safe haven to find or research your inner kinks.

I also love the theme of incest and sisters, but if my own sister made some sexual hint, most likely I would just vomit. The mere thought of something like this makes me uncomfortable. Considering that my sister is pretty cute and we have a very close relationship.

I admit that I don't have a credible opinion on the real brother-sister incest, nor on mother-son, nor on father-daughter. I have the misfortune (or not !) of having been abandoned when I was born, the penultimate year of WWII. So no real family, no experience with siblings, only a few false "aunts and uncles" in placement. My only "family" was only made up of brothers, within the French Foreign Legion. I quote the Code of Honor of the Legionary: "Art. 2 - Each legionary is your brother in arms, whatever his nationality, his race, his religion. You always show him the close solidarity which must unite the members of the same family.". Obviously, nothing sexual in there! No more family since, I am alone. And I like VNs with or without incest in the same way, what matters is the story and the credibility of the characters.
