I think I know the issue you're talking about, the main reason I added an override to the audio when you start the game, is because most don't go into settings and it makes everything way too loud. no idea why renpy (the engine) is like that, but it make audio about 50% louder then it should be. heh.
The actual fix is extremely laborious as it's to set each play music / play sound volume individually.
I'll look into it if its a viable option for the next update.

It is kinetic. Choices re-order scenes, or have cosmetic non permanent effect. The biggest choice to make is to flirt or not. No flirting no nookie.
I think its the most important choice no?
later on the choices will be more meaningful,
Right now I'm trying to get everything out,
branching story lines, and branching side stories are nice to have at this point, but they will surely be there in the final version.

. I enjoyed the first part and I chuckled at some parts not gonna lie haha. However I still feel a bit sad to chose only one girl instead of getting them all. I mean there is nothing wrong with what there is and how the game is its pretty good. But im a Harem player and it kinda is sad to see it the way play it out. Perhaps in some future there will be a Harem path ? Who knows.

Wow, this thread has blown up since the release of chapter 2. I'm still in the midst of my playthrough, but I had to share some of my thoughts as this update really makes this AVN come alive.
First off, Freja's character feels so fleshed out that I'm honestly stunned this quality of writing is possible. The level of care and attention feel similar to the character of a game like Divinity: Original Sin 2 or and of the Baldur's Gate characters, showing a level of depth that bring her character to life rather than being two dimensional.
The inspiration from RPGs doesn't end at the characters either, as minor plot points take heavy inspiration from the genre. Without spoiling the story, just know that about halfway through chapter 2 you'll be treated to a spectacularly executed quest which illustrates the talent that Jubei has in writing.
Jubei - I'll update my review in after I finish chapter 2 to reflect the new material. However, know that you far exceeded my expectations in delivering a well rounded experience, a statement I don't make lightly.

Good morning folks. Tax season since I control an S-Corp... it's been hectic, so thank you in advance for your patience. I dispatched my PA to the cabin studio I'm staying at last weekend and we've finished the accounting, and in the evening I knocked out two of the five VN's that required SanchoMod updates to the latest mod Core code.
With that prerequisite I'm about to start this update today (I'm DLing the VN as I type this post). So, please bare with me as I work through my abnormal backlog of IRL responsibilities and VN mod updates... "Tainted" is on the front burner and will get my full attention until it's done.
... and yes, it's more than a "walkthrough" if you haven't tried a SanchoMod yet. Just sayin'.
I'll keep y'all posted in the mod's thread here. Which apparently was removed from the VN's OP (apparently more than two days go by without an update and I'm dropped like a hot potato). Regards.
I actually had that in the original writing, but I dropped it as its too early in the game for such escalation of the romance / sex,for whatever reason every time you start off as a prince character i dont think i really see a scene where the MC gets to bang a maid/servant before he loses his power...a damn shame
so I had the night foundling as the first encounter.
it's a very delicate balance to get it just right, too much sex and its a porno, to little sex and its not as appealing.
