Are the Physique & Arcane states supposed to have a core of 0.0? How are you supposed to raise it?

Yes. I have no idea what she intended for the split, but currently everything that raises them counts as bonus. Mostly the perks you pick after levelling and enchanted clothing or tattoos plus some various things like set and racial bonuses.

Oh, btw, is the game kinda laggy for anyone else? Every action takes like half a second. Movement, opening a menu, selecting an item, whatever. Every button press is followed by like half a second of lag before the game does its thing. Is that normal or is there something wrong on my end?

Dammit. The only thing that reacts instantly for me is the minimap zoom in/out. Everything else has a slight delay to it, and now that I've realized it's a problem on my end, it's really annoying me.

Then maybe I should be more clear about what I meant. Sandboxes feel like they're designed around a role you are put in, with no accommodations if you want to do differently. Simulations feel like you can choose a role for yourself within a world they designed for you, with appropriate pushback and rewards.
I also wouldn't assume that because people value self-directed play over punishment, that they also don't want challenge and experimentation. Otherwise, challenge runs wouldn't be a thing. Great games are able to give different challenges and rewards for committing to different roles/playstyles.

This game's non-sex equivalent feels like a Morrowind, even Daggerfall. Not that I've played Daggerfall, but from what the fans say its' like an old Elder Scrolls game left the mods in.

I see where you are coming from now and, at the end of the day, I agree with you. I just think the better direction for this game is less Mount and Blade, and more Daggerfall.

I'm more into stuff like The Sims, anyway. Feel free to make fun of that all you like, but face it: its' appeal is much closer to what this game has than Skyrim's.
My mistake, not Daggerfall, Dwarf Fortress. That's the one I'm thinking of, and that's a better fit for this game.
Complicated interface, but as a society simulator among other things, there's nothing else like it.

This is the first text porn game I bothered to give a chance and turns out I'm really enjoying it.
I love the freedom it gives to play and fuck however I want.
Any other games like this? The more freedom it gives the player the best to me.

CoC, TiTS, Strive (both of them), era games (tohoK and tohoTW most developed)

Every time I come back to this thing after an extended absence, I keep forgetting how to choose to bottle essences other than arcane ones in Lilaya's Lab.

Also, how does the player actually perform sex work after getting the prostitution license? Are you strictly only allowed to work at Angel's Kiss despite the dialogue suggesting your enhanced license should let you work anywhere?

And is it a safe bet that any character with art assets or unique events will spit out transformative and fetish-changing items 100% of the time? (i.e.- the harpy matriarchs, the rat-girl with the addictive juices)

That's the only essence tho? The others are just leftovers from a previous, more complicated crafting system.

Yes, since Inno didn'twrite any other places since that's the only place you also have an agreement to work at with the owner.

Uhm, if it's relevant to their content/part of the quest, yes, you'll get them on each run. Otherwise not that many unique NPCs dabble in TF content.

That's strange, seeing how they still show up at Arcane Arts in the shop and still have entries in the phone's item list. I've been trying to figure out how to complete those just for the sake of it.
Edit: Speaking of which, is there a way to add item entries for equipment and consumables without equipping and/or consuming the things in question yet? Like, are you absolutely forced to get your whole body pierced if you want to fill out a compendium of jewelry?

That's a shame. The way the dialogue was written I thought having the license meant you would get to earn cash outside yourself, with your slaves being the ones that were allowed to work the ground floor rooms in her shop if you set their jobs to that.
Edit: Are you punished for neglecting to actually refer any of the probably unlicensed alleyway workers that you agreed to send her way? Or are you rewarded somehow when you send a certain number? It just occurred to me that there wasn't really a way to not agree to the 'discount' deal but that there were also no real mentions of any consequences if you didn't hold up your end of the thing.

Just to clarify, I didn't mean I wanted to unlock unique TF variant art on their phone contact pages (I think only Candi and Brax have non-nudity variants depending on how you dealt with them, anyway), but rather I meant to ask if transformation and fetish modifications are just completely disabled or guaranteed to fail in their cases regardless of their individual quests' progress (i.e.- they will always reject drinking/eating stuff you give them). I wanted to see if things like changing Pix's physique could be done, for example.

The encyclopedia is generated from whatever items exist and Vicky just has them because she's always had them.
I think I've seen mention of just having the item being enough ... maybe that was just a plan though.

There's no reward, penalty or further interaction beyound sleeping with them at this time.

Ohhhhh, yeah, all the uniques reject being messed with for the sake of consistent writing.

I'm not super certain that's true for non-essence consumables: I still had to do things like equip a rose in my own hair, smell a bouquet of roses, and hug a teddy bear to add those items to my encyclopedia, but I've never fought an alligator in any playthrough and already have their essence in the list. Similarly, I already own chocolates and some miscellaneous races' transformative items, but since I haven't eaten any so they're not yet in there.

I might be locked out of adding the reforge hammer to my list because I decided to learn earth spells before using one, and apparently that school of magic nets you free dye/reforge functionality. Whoops. I guess I could just start a new game and 'speedrun' it, or edit the properties.xml file that seems to track that info to get it.

Consumables aside, it does look like weapons and clothing are added to the lists when they've been in your inventory, but a separate "encyclopedia entry added" message still triggers when you've equipped them. Which is a bit strange if that's really how it's working right now.

Thanks for clarifying my other two doubts, by the way. Much appreciated.

Edit: I'm enchanting a tattoo and apparently the capacity cost for Fertility 'to add' doesn't properly update (displays as 0 before adding any of the boosts, but adds 1, 2, or 3 to the total cost when added to the 100 enchantment slots- it also subtracts from them if you add a drain, though... which means you can cheat the capacity limit system by making yourself extremely unfertile or unvirile - I note that virility never adds any capacity cost the way fertility does, though). So that's something to probably report as a bug unless it's intended.

Version 0.3.7.5 Preview Release

Hello once again!

For this preview, I've got some bugs and other minor things sorted out, as well as getting the framework for Natalya's content added. I ended up once again adding more than I'd originally planned for this character, so all of the dialogue for her mini quest is very rough placeholders at the moment (and there might be some bugs). With this in mind, I advise only playing it if you want to see the sort of content it involves, and waiting to do a proper play-through until the next release, when all of the dialogue will be filled in.

I expect the next update to be the full release of v0.3.8, which should be out around Wednesday, 13th May (unless there are some major problems which require a hotfix). I had originally planned for it to be out on Friday, but I really need some extra days in which to get things finished off.

I'll make another post on Friday let you know how things are progressing!

Thank you all so much for your support, and if you're a $10 supporter, please send me a message to let me know what name you'd like me to use in the credits for you! ^^
Enjoy! \^o^/

Ok I missed a few updates and noticed the slime trick for becoming an angel has been patched out. has another method to get angel transformations been included or is that transformation impossable at the moment?

You can do it over the debug menu. But otherwise no.
