Dumb question that I am sure other people have asked already but I can't find anyone that has had the same thing happen to them(?) but how exactly do I download and use mods? I could never get the mods that I downloaded to work and maybe it's because they are old...? I don't really have any more recent mods since I thought that it would be easy for me to just put them in, unzip the files, and get to playing, but after some looking around again I, of course, remembered that I am in fact not a modder and have no clue on if I did anything right.

I put them in the mods list, I unzipped them, then another time I deleted the unzipped files and downloaded them all again, but they still don't work. Could someone help me figure out how to actually do it? And sorry if this question is easy to answer, i'm not the type to mess with files for games.

Pretty much everyone here once shared your hope for this game.
Yeah I don't remember when I found this game, I think it was before I even found f95 and stumbled onto it via tfgames or something. To me it's like she doesn't even know what she wants it to be anymore. Originally it seemed like the design goal was an RPG with random event elements. Then it kinda devolved into some kind of sandbox with a bunch of side quests and subsystems on subsystems.

I can't even say it has a good base anymore, BDCC is a solid base even if I'm not a huge fan of the furry part. This game is a gigantic house of cards just waiting for someone to come through and knock it over.

The problem this game has (among MANY other games on this site) is that its essentially a never-ending developing cycle. There will never be a completed project because they always have something new to add, which means there's never a good time to add to the core of it. Its like they're trying to create the porn game that does any and everything but that's just unfeasible and will never happen for any game ever.

Instead they should all focus on the core game first, get the main stuff done or at least the backbone, and then work around that sufficiently without going overboard before continuing. If you're making a game and you can't see a reasonable endpoint in your plan that you want to reach, that is a problem, not a feature and that's not a good mindset.

Even with the best intentions, even with all the features in the world, these games do get old and players lose interest. For example and personally speaking, I have nearly lost any and all desire to continue to play Hero's Harem Guild because it just seems to never really go anywhere. Sure, there is a lot more side content than two years ago, but the main story ultimately has not moved an inch in that time. I can only fuck the girls so many times before I am bored while the content I do want to build up to never seems to come up. Same issue here. We had all our fun with the randos and static NPCs here that we can. New species, new ways to have sex, etc. will not address the core problem that we have made zero progress in the main game in years. Side stories at this point do absolutely nothing to retain interest, I want the game to get on with it already.

Inversely, one of my favorite games here is Monster Girl 1000 because I got plenty of side content while the main game consistently got updated to a point where it hit a definite end. Every update seemed focused on progressing this goal and brought something new to the main story while allowing me to manage all the girls appropriately. As a result, I never saw an update that made me think "Oh boy, I wonder how this one will waste my time."

No. It's also not playable on phone (and never would, for more reason than one).
i think it could work about as good as on PC because the problem isn't code-wise it's webengine-wise which might be something else entirely that isn't too bound on CPU

question, can you enchant an item to give you a specific extra body part like wings or a tail?

just unlocked enchanting and it isnt like the wiki is developed enough to give me an answer

Yeah, basically IIRC most TFs require the race food and when your in the enchanting menu there should be body part things that let you add certain TFs, wings should be their own catagory

oh i dont mean transform my character by modifying the FOOD, i already knew that

I thought that you could apply temporary transformations from equipment (ie put on a choker and ya get snake eyes or put on a pair of pants and grow a tail, ect) sorry for the confusion

basically think Metaknight

To my knowledge clothing enchantments only let you modify existing body parts and mess with fetishes.

(They're also the leading cause of lag if you care about that.)

I may have seen mods that change this, but don't hold me to that.

You can grow or remove sex organs with clothes, and alter the scale of a few things (lips, butt, breasts, fluids, etc.), but like with all transformative effects these these remain after the item is removed instead of being a temporary shapeshift. Wings and tails can only be gained from transformation potions sourced from enchanting food items, which also last permanently until a TF potion with a removal effect is used.

a horrible shame. with how modular this is it would've been nice especially if combat could affect what you wear so if your kit at that point focused on your temp limb removing it nerfs you and similarly uber powerful character would have powerful transformations that depended on their gear so if you snuck around beforehand or had the means to remove them mid combat turning them into a decent fight, a scrawny weakling, or say a dumb bimbo turns into a powerful succubus overlord removing her gear turns her BACK into a stupid dumb bimbo

That would be overcomplicated and pointless. Combat system is "meh" enough already with lots of exploits.

doesnt have to be that complex, i just dont want to have permanet wings. a game with this feature in mind would probably streamline other aspects of combat to not excessively bloat things

either it's an idea that came to late or there are potential balancing issues not easily accounted for... or they just didnt want to do that. being able to turn into a werewolf by putting on a ring or having a cape that lets you fly just sound cool

that is far more involved than using the enchantment system already present in the game to just have wings tied to the armor/clothes

like, the alternative to a cape with wings is crafting/echanting five bits of wing on and five bits of wing off which will always be more expensive and tedious

obviously what this (and TiTs, CoC1&2) want is for you to just do this but Lilith has the means to completely circumvent the tedium it would also be much cooler cus while you have to empty your pantry into your mouth to turn into a kaju i'd just have to slip on a ring or belt and id henshin into my rider form

Its possible to save enchantments, and I think theres a way to enchant multiple items at once although not entirely sure. Either way, its not possible to have an item that temporarily gives you a body part and considering how this game is partially focused on TF I'm gonna wager that they're going to leave it with potions, after all, if they add the ability to add body parts with clothes, how is the AI going to be able to TF you if you just fix all your parts? Otherwise, just don't have the forced TF stuff on, and find your own way to rp your wing fantasy.

also off topic

i can understand that, it's just that im jumpin in new and had a lotta assumptions about mechanics

[hypothetical] as for how forced transformations work, id just have them transform your base form, think that pvp ring from Souls. essentially you are masking/altering your true appearance with an item so of course it's not gonna change a look derived from an item... BUT what you look like when they attempt to transform you does affect what they use on you (if there was some decision making from the AI) so if you lose you could end up getting fucked up by the transformation far more than you realize because you still had your disguise on

like say you have a jacket that gives you a tail and the guy doesnt want you to have a tail and feeds you something that either removes tails or chops off ya dick... well now you're dickless cus i couldnt get rid of a tail that didnt exist
