When I hear people justify Inno's abandonment with the UK COL, I am always reminded to the developers of STALKER 2, that literally got their headquarters fucking bombed by Russia in the crossfire and just moved and started doing their thing somewhere else.

To broaden this concept, I don't think it really matter that it's an isekai or not, specially since in the lore it technically isn't. The "essence" if you will of this point is that it evokes self inserting, you play the role of your character and you interact with that world via that character. It gives you a tabula rasa to make yours instead of giving you a pre defined role and expecting you do play that role.
Only relevant in the context of scamtreom and other high tech mediums for wasting money. If it wasn't for dumb guidelines there would be no need for such workarounds. If anything, giving the player the option of killing characters they don't like and having that affect the world would give another layer to the game, as now you can influence the world you're "isekai'd" into a more direct way.
For porn games, butthole diameter is important. In fact, all porn games should give the player exact measurements for butthole diameter of their characters and the NPCs they interact with, preferably in metric like the civilised people we should strive to be would use.
On the transformation side of things, that's gonna clash with a more structured plot and story. If a character must be a certain way in order to perform their role in that setting, then transforming him in a way that affects that would either make it him character not make sense or require some additional creativity from the writer. Is nice that there is TFs, but how much of it is reasonable to expect?
Or maybe do away with that fetish system entirely and come up with something better, which considering how "good" it is, can't be that much of a hassle.
What you didn't mention is the skills and perks system, though. And those can be interesting if the tree was better designed with more interesting perks. Another game with a similar engine should keep those and maybe take more inspiration from TiTS in this aspect.

This is true of all games, actually. Take F.A.T.A.L for example. The game where you can roll so bad you rape someone to death because their ass was too small.
Do I have tp remind you their initial release date? Or maybe their next "no delays this time"? Or another next one? Also while I can agree that gsc could use some intense stimulation to make them finally work instead of shitposting prerendered bread, I doubt that russian military actually interested in bombing some B class game dev offices
GSC has been hit with bombs, been hacked by Pro-Russian groups, no doubt has been receiving constant harassment for being a semi-famous Ukraine studio, many of their members have had to relocate away from the frontlines, have suffered power loss, resources are harder to find, and I imagine some members have been conscripted into the war effort. All whilst making a game magnitudes larger in scope then LT.
But sure, getting bombed, hacked and attacked is the same as being too sad to develop your text adventure game.
IDK man, I feel like "The Russians invaded my country" is a better excuse than "I'm a bit overwhelmed" but that's just my opinion.

Yeah, it's that kind of game. And it's even more bizarre than that, due to badly-written rules. The part about anal diameter, in particular, became a meme due to the fact that you can roll for quite bizarre results. And peeing is an actual skill.
Could've recommended to google for it yourself and see in all its "glory", but be aware that it's also full of crap, and not just in its mechanics (to put it bluntly, this setting is not friendly to women, at all; amongst other issues).

I've been thinking of rolling out an alternative to Lilith's Throne for years (mostly just because of how awfully it performs). Now that it's reached this absolute state, I'm more likely to finally get off ass and do it. I always wanted to make it more modular as well since the main story/setting doesn't grab me, and I dislike how baked in it was to the code.
Throwing together a mockup UI won't take long. I'll have to ponder how to approach the backend, though. Ideally I'd like to have the ability to load different story modules on startup so people can make entire settings and stories that just get loaded like plugins.

Looking forward to it, make sure to make a thread on the mod section if you plan to fork it. I also feel the weakness in its setting but it also had a lot of potential, so any love given to it even if it's a different iteration of it is much appreciated.
