There is a known bug that the area sometimes doesn't correctly sparkle and you are stuck.

i tried new game (0.9 fix) and again came to this scene and there is nothing in the desk wtf??
isn't there any bug fix for this? anyone?
or does anyone has a save right after the wet wipes?

From their latest post today, it sounds like they are back on track with a new translator "V" (it did not work out with the previous one). Mike scene is done, they are working on the rest (Fred etc) and they are aiming to release next week.
