I'm glad. Hope you'll consider doing that to the days 1-4 as well.Thank you for the comments, I shall take on board what you have mentioned... you are correct in the way people act, there are a few instances where different dialogue does appear if character are say more submissive or dominant.. but this could be expanded more.
No, no, I don't mean you should remove the scenes, on the contrary, the scenes are fine. The problem is the excess of unnecessary animations. An example, the alley stalking scene. Showing people walking around is fine, good even as it allows you to convey the passage of time without describing it in words. The problem is that you animated that scene. You could show 5 images of different people passing by to represent pedestrians, moving them and changing the models as if to simulate minutes passing, and then when you're satisfied just show the next event, instead you made a short video moving each character a few inches each frame for like 5 seconds.Animation side of things, this is a little like marmite I suppose.. you either love them or hate them. Myself I have made this game and will continue to make it as a 'Film' rather than just jumping from scene to scene as I would prefer to see more of this in games, rather than just one scene and then a completely different scene. Yes you could argue this would speed up production, however I don't think I am lacking in the quantity of an update to the speed it is released, especially since I am a one man band doing this in my spare time.
Rita leaving the elevator and approaching for a kiss could be done in 3 images: starting point, halfway and right in front of MC with eyes closed and head tilted. That gives all the information necessary, is much lighter and looks better, while the animation looks like the characters are floating and moving like weird dolls.
The driving while on the phone scene, on day 4, I believe. You could have used three images and cycled between them, pretty much the way you did with the animation, but in a much more natural and lighter way.
The animations of the spanish woman climbing down the stairs or walking into the changing room are completely unnecessary.
Those are just examples of what I noticed, small issues, but should make the game much lighter and better imo. I wonder if I'm the only one that feels that way. No one else seems to think this I'm describing.
