Honestly... You have my interest. Do certainly hope we will be able to have maybe open relations with a few of the gals. Though right now I'm caught between Fiona, Linda, or Bus Gal (who left a hard impression on me for reasons). Eager to see how this goes.

I mean, the guy is a conservative hardass with an old school parenting style, but he is still a father. The son just didn't live up to his expectations and was being a lazy dick. Disappointed, yes. Hate? Not really. What kinda father would actually hate their son? And if he ran away from home to pursue higher education and make something of himself, it makes sense for the dad to still financially support him.
I'm sure you've noticed that the core of pretty much every character in this VN is anchored in reality, rather than porn logic.

I mean his dad physically abused him pretty bad from the sound of it which goes way beyond the realm of "conservative hardass"
I work in the field of adolescent psych so I see a lot of abusive parents and your right they may not hate their kids but they all very much resent them at the least. Abusers like that only offer financial support as a means of further controlling someone but MC's dad just gives him money and lets him walk away. Unless MC is over-stating the abuse there is a huge disconnect in how the dad acts so not exactly "anchored in reality"
. I mean look at how the dad controls everyone else the sister the mom textbook abuser but lets MC walk away with a credit card and a blank check? ehh it's weird
