Alright, so I've been following this game since it's first conception LOK:R, but I've never paid any attention to the thread. What was the reasoning behind the reboot it's getting?
I'm not keen on the new design, but that's my personal opinion. I'll wait till 0.4 or 0.5 to cast any kind of judgement on it.

I'm going to point this out it is a cash grab to me remember money given to u on patreon comes from us if u screw up u get new ppl to fund u if we give u money it's gone we dont get it back I'm simply saying finish what u start unless u lose the rights to the work then u need to finish ur project otherwise it's a slight to ur consumer's re branding it is not an answer
I dont know why people seem to forget this, It was a good game too.
I wish Gorepete had finished his Dead Space inspired game too..
Honestly that was why I did my 14 point critique of the Demo, because too many people were simply complaining about the game being remade and not actually looking at the game itself.
Granted, I get it. Lots of people get ornery when stuff like this happens in games because they are usually done through Patreon and once money is involved, it get's ugly. (It's why any project I have ever done was always doing it on my own spare time without crowdfunding. If I bail, no one gets mad.)
My thing is to simply check out the game by it's own merit. Clearly this game had a rough beginning in it's life cycle, but I'm hopeful something good can come out of it.

i cant believe the game got remake in remake again which today i read some comments here, and just by reading the previous comments here... was interesting and something happen with the devs.
i havent read much of the old LOK thread that got abandoned and i could see why on what happen with the game.

Nope, the original flash 2D Krystal game never got finished, nor did the spin-offs from other people. Rebirth never got finished and this one here...well have a lucky guess.
I can totally understand people being very suspicious about the whole wet dream from those devs. Some comments might be over the top and more than 50% of them are solid. I'll give this ragefest 8,5/10 amusement points. <3

Jokes aside, how long did this new prototype take to make? i haven't really followed the progress much since the start of the other one.
Also, i do hope the devs don't burn themselves out on this, it isn't easy to deal with the curse of the legend of krystal. Even if Gorepete did restore some balance.

Approximately a year, I'd say.

No, but it makes me feel better and hopefully others as well, seeing how much drama is in the thread it pretty needed.
But of course, i can also understand why people would be annoyed at a project restart after like 4-5 years, as is their right especially if they threw money at it.
On the other hand, people should remember the shitstorm that became of the money sink of breeding seasons. Ho boy did that sour the whole patron fapgame culture.

They just need to abandon this and work on last 0.8 and continue, i realy liked Rebirth, but this is realy bad... would never recoment compared to last 0.8
