Just for comparison, Night of Revenge started around the same time the original LoK Rebirth did, was manned by one guy, and it also used unity with a very similar 2d model rigging style. His game finally released today.

Every time one of these images comes out, I can't help but think how idiotic are the people who continue to support these cheeky people, who think that the level of detail of the game will be the same as the one dedicated to these fanarts, when the reality has long been the opposite and they haven't even put the slightest interest in doing so. Everything is publicity, and as always there are people with more money than brains.

Ah man come on; you have to admit that after all the time of this project and the current situation around the world, it is impressive that some still have hope AND money.

Just wanted to check if i did miss anything, seems not.

Welcome to the month of November. We have a bit to discuss so let’s strap in.

Pilots, Build 0.1.5.0 is available in your launchers. You can find the changelog here Finally All Peons are on deck for the release on November 21st.

Our priorities for our final build of 2022 is to establish a proven baseline for 2023. This means a lot of foundational work, namely Kuja and Compound working together to better separate and categorize the Razorclaw Jungle background pieces/images allowing us to easily assemble the transition backgrounds between the important locations inside the Village within Unity. This effort results in us being able to delegate work between Kuja, Compound, Ron and Hooch moving forward.

These changes are a direct result of what we learned throughout the Absolution development process. We fell into a quagmire of having to pause Kuja’s progress on characters and CG scenes to catch up on building backgrounds. Simply put, Kuja fell behind trying to carry too much of the load. Fortunately, thanks to your patience, the delay allowed us to catch up on the backlog while making the necessary steps to not repeat these same mistakes in the Village.

Rest assured, the unique backgrounds, such as the Waterfall or Tavern, will still get the tender, love, and care that only Kuja can provide. These changes will affect the transitional backgrounds that link these locations together. We look forward to showing off the redesigned Village layout soon.

Blah Blah Blah, bushes and sticks, let's get to some action! In addition to housekeeping, Kuja has been creating the art asset additions to the Vanlen and Galdryn scenes. You can enjoy a more "comforting" tease in the supporter only post.

These changes were spearheaded by Vlad to begin implementing the CG scenes into the in game experience. The story context and the addition of SFX should bring the quality of the scenes up to the standard the art and animations set.

We hope you all are being good little peeps during NNN. Thank you for all the Support! Until next time. Peace and Stay Strong.

I just recently discovered LOK:rebirth and then found LOK:RE. The developers were working for a year on.. what exactly? This is genuienly heart breaking to see a very promising project with soul and good writing in it to be abandoned for what is essentialy a scam.

Unless the public builds are tinkered and the actual game is for paying users. But seing a part of commentary here I doubt.

Shame. Real actuall shame.

They won't give a shit as long as there are idiots paying for promises.
literaly the entire world runs on this idea.
Too little time to learn how to replace a piece of piping? bust out $200 for a plumber.
Too little time to write a script for backing up your shit? bust out $500 for data recovery when your drive dies.
No idea how glasses / eyes work? Pay 2 times the price of the glasses that you needed because the Optometrist fucked you over by selling you anti blue light, sun shade, 3d cocksucking glasses.
Don't know how to cook? Pay a fortune for ready meals all the time.
General idiot? You pay $20 per month to the LOK devs.

These are the kinda of devs that are either swimming in money, without the need to even lift a finger since their golden craddle or there's gotta be followers that sacrifices goats in order to support these ideas (yes, I call these ideas when devs simply can't just follow through til the end with even a single project)
