Unfortunately, Legend of Krystal is a cursed series. I remember the OG version being on Newgrounds years ago around 2010. Ever since many have tried, but ultimately failed due to horrible management like this one or just the devs deciding to do something else with their life.
But just to put how disasterous this team has been, in the time since the OG LOK Rebirth was announced I have went into college, earned a degree, held multiple different jobs, had all my friends graduate college, go overseas, come back to the States and now hold another job. Meanwhile these devs haven't even come cross to putting out a game while casting a side a version that is 10x better. Normally I would make jokes in my post, but the fact that these devs are making money for seemingly no reason is a bigger joke than I could ever make.

Thats the hentai game industry, if you can call it that, these days lol.
And yea, i wish we had more of Gorepete's version, ever since that one i feel like ive seen dozen of these projects fail.
Makes me wish i wasnt lazy by nature, picked up game engines up dozens of times myself intending to make hentai games that arent 5% done for years, but alas.

no, this is not only hentai games happening, but with also with ordinary games, unfortunately now they want money, but they don’t care for the game,the managers came to the games, but not creators.

Funny you should mention that. I distinctly remember being interested in the OG version of this remake back when I was not in university yet. And now Im also close to my degree.
I still have hopes for the project, perhaps that is misplaced or perhaps not. I hope the project fares well and makes a great game of high quality. As most know high quality normally takes time, and most dev work is hidden away from people watching and waiting for a playable game. It is disappointing to not have anything playable and to have delays, but it is also not helpful to simply bemoan things. even if no game is made in the end, my $1 a month still sees gifs and pictures that i think are worth it.

Sorry friend but your hopes for the people working on this project are non-existant.
1- a huge of effort on giving updates
2- the ones that shall not be named in the team have an huge ego and from the posts experiences shared by Abelius shows off and really toxic work environment with the one that shall not be named because is not worth to mention it and this is not a nameshaming forum.
3- This game will be completed at year 2025 if things keep going as they are so if you're still optimistic in hoping the game to have content then i guess you can wait idk xD
Its an actual fact that LOK games are cursed, that ain't no myth and maybe when an dedicated team could put the effort into that game maybe the curse will be broken with a decent game release with the classical touch of playshapes LoK style or even a new gameplay style that involves RPG or Action playstyle

You are even more optimistic then inszel , as it is unlikely that the developers will finish their work on the game so soon (especially with such a slow development speed), and will give a finished game project in 2025
But it would be good if you were right, otherwise there have been no updates in this forum thread for a long time...
- Added Basic Fighting AI in combat.
Still, just being able to shoot a gun or deck somebody stark naked is a plus for me.

question; Are there gifs and images posted on there not on discord? I'm not expecting anyone to come forth with paywalled content, I would just like to know. They may have been releasing teasers (perhaps after they have sat for so long on Patreon? I don't know) but it's a little hard to gauge progress without something visual. (Coding on the other hand is less visual, so that I understand is hard to put into a picture.)
