Latest LonaRPG.Beta_ENG merged translation

That's a bug. I see the CHT verison has /ending/end. But the english does not. I can patch that in a jiffy. Give me a sec.

Edit: a jiffy.
Edit 2: I probably shouldn't say "patch" unless I want some uncalled rage directed towards me from a certain someone..
I also updated the Latest LonaRPG.Beta_ENG merged translation with this fix.
Thanks for reporting it Landry1.

Do you have a Github for people to casually add to the translation for easier collaboration and building?

No, I only have my orthodox file manager and text editor. In the spoiler "translation needed" in the Latest LonaRPG.Beta_ENG merged translation post you can see what files are left to do.

That being said, I've had edited MTLs of those files sent to me. Like a month ago, by two champs. I just haven't had any time recently to add it.

I am swamped with AFK stuff and the work I've done to the files have been to keep pace with releases. I'll have a day off now soon and I hope I can add them then. It's been too long anyway, and I feel regret over not finishing it.

Edit: but yeah, perhaps a plaform to do collabs among us would be cool.

Ugh, I just realized that the items doesn't fit the window in "Items" since it's only 4 rows. In the "Equip" window it fits since it's 7 rows.

7_Rows.png
So, I'll keep the colors but I need to move all those rows up.

I should've tested this but I was tired and after I uploaded it the whole sugoi soy boy thing took all my time and then my day off was gone.

I'll fix and reupload soon.

Edit: fixed and reuploaded to the english patch post. I also added just the two file in this post as well. You do you.
I think it doesn't look quite as good as before but it fits now. Even if there's some unsed space now in the "Equip" window.

But as they use the same file there is nothing to be done and it is nitpicking at best anyway.

Unused space at the right...

Unused space at the bottom...
4_rows_02.png
Can't have both.
Cheers.

Early in the game is it worth gathering things like sticks from the forest? It takes stamina to cut them.

Sticks?? No, man.
Herbs, yes.
If you're looking to sell them on the market? You need logs to set up cauldron and smoke meat/ dry food. Otherways it's pretty useless.

During the cecily and grey rat quest, were you suppose to sneak out after rescuing her ? i tried and it said the escort had to be near. In the end i had to kill all the bandits.

I had fun playing that quest when I baited all the bandits in the middle and sending all to a fiery peaceful departure. If there are any survivors I bait them to the nearest door that has explossives.

I tried that but I couldnt set them on fire I belive
It sometimes weirdly misses but it's more effective than melee combat, less stamina wasted and less risk of getting stunned. Just run a little and anticipate what direction you'll face them and then let them have it and then run around it while the fire does it's magic. You can even take out an ogre with this tactic because it stacks damage.
In order for fire DOT to proc, the initial "oil spill" has to hit the enemy on the tile you're using on. If they're simply moving into a tile that is on fire they will never be on fire.

No, actually you have to deal with the few enemies at the front entrance there( about 6-7 enemies) before bailing Cecily and Grey Rat out.
With INAFF patience, you can kite and kill the one on the left side of the warehouse as well.

This was funny quest, which could be great for sneaking techniques and possibilities tutorial.
Initially I cleared all traps as Grey Rat told me "Clear the path and then I will follow." So I expected that after clearing all traps, he will rush in and kill everybody. This did not happened and he still mumble about "clearing the path".
So I used sneaking to kill all bad guys before I opened cell with Cecily. Combination of rock throwing to lure and kill and my own´s traps was perfect. Later I found here on forum that I could use a wooden club to stun the enemies from behind.
Tried also a technique to lure a bandits to the GrayRat but this not work too much as they ignored each other, which was quite odd.

I can't remember his name - Derick or something? The arena manager basicaly. Why does he keep calling me an "unknown street rat", despite me fucking up everyone he sent after me - I even defeated "The Beast". I think Lona deserves SOME recognition for that alone.

No doubt the audience would be like "Damn, that breastless boy-girl kicked the shit out of The Beast. Who is she?". And if I'm not mistaken, victorious gladiators in ancient Rome were well-known and popular amongst the populace.

But perhaps I'm overthinking this and in the future the dev will add some kind of quest to the arena where you can achieve fame and glory! I'm confident her notorious gladiatoral participations would boost her reputation as a mercenary!

Maybe Lona will be able to get nicknames based on how she fights. Let's say if Lona has the "Bloodbath" trait, she will get the "Butcher" nickname and so on and so forth!

I agree. I made the translation here, and there is unfourtunately no section where Lona is recognized as a bad-ass gladiator. Say if I'd change the text when Lona is victorious to "Champion", she'll still be an unknown street rat the next time she is a contender, since that line is recycled.

I hope that Eccma417 can make an addtion that after beating the beast she is recognized and feared and we have a new addition to the dialouge.

I did it this way:

Leave Grey Rat at the door.
Stealth-disarm EVERYTHING except the mines the front door. NPC pathing is derpy.
Try to throw rocks to get the door guards within blast range.
Detonate mines with another couple of rocks.
Finish off any survivors.
Run back to the door and make sure Grey Rat doesn't get pincered to death.
From here, you can still watch as Cecily gets boinked or save her first.
Talk to Cecily and realise Grey Rat can teleport.
Casually walk out the door and back to the inn.
Job done, Lona's a freaking hero and Cecily begrudges that a Commoner rescued her.
Thank Vineet for having Cecily say "Thank you". Or whatever grumble she uses as gratitude.

Really, GR is awesome and tanky but this mission doesn't really show it as he can get himself killed.
