Not entirely true.
As you play the game, you realize it's not a Groundhog Day time loop, more of a Bastion or Stay? kind of time loop.

No, you can at certian point after the endgame replay and test different choices, but you have all your stats from the first playtrhough.
Also some content you can only see if you play in NG+ mode.
Test it it's a great game with great Story, did you try "Sexbot" by the way ?

Literally every ending ends with your mentor saying he got dementia because he mastered time magic, but using it costs you your memories. The reason you have flashes of inspiration throughout the story, like being able to read demonic texts or defeating Samarra, is because you've already done all this. The "true ending" is whatever ending allows the main character to learn to read demonic texts so he can have those memories in the first place.
This is all fairly explicit.

1) Not all of your memories are erased, hence why New Game Plus has you keep your stats despite you having been a layabout up to that point, with the MC and other characters commenting on changes in your skills or behavior.
2) Time is still returning to a set point. Events are still repeating. You can choose to leave things as they are, or try again for a better future (one where you get the memories and skills for the story to make sense otherwise).

If so, use the time limit. It works best on your first playthrough anyway, and after then, feel free to turn it off to fully explore everything the game has to offer.

Just, whichever you choose, do not try to follow a step by step script walkthrough. You'll have a much better time with the game if you actually pay attention to what's going on, and make informed decisions about what you should do next. That's the way Belle designed it to be played, and that's how you'll get the best experience.

You can impregnate almost all of the major characters. Since the game takes place over only a month an a half, you don't see the results of this until the epilogue.
It tells me to go to Callie's at night. I keep going and all I can do is molest her. Nothing else ever happens.
