I've play once without Playthrough but it doesn't goes well. I miss some details. The all point of a Playthrough is to discover every aspect of the game, every detail the player could have avoided. But if you play the game with a playthrough for the very first time I'm 100% OK with your concern.
But you aren't actually discovering anything. You're robotically following someone else's playthrough. That sounds insanely boring to me, so I'm always baffled by people who want to do that. I'm with glaurung here. Using a guide is fine. Asking questions is fine. Being led by the nose following some step by step script where everyone agrees that a single misstep will screw you up is not the best plan.

I would say, to each their own.

That is what a WT does, and they are/have been used in basically every game out there. :)

You are allowed to have different opinions, but why you people are trying to force yours on others, I'll never understand...

No, that is what a bad walkthrough does. A good one gives a guide on how to reach various outcomes, not a step by step, you must follow this exactly or it breaks script.

Look, you wrote this thing and so are emotionally invested in it. I get that, and I'm sorry if I'm hurting your feelings here, but in games like this, what you created is going to cause more problems than it solves. I point to the last several pages of this thread as evidence.

I'm not trying to force anyone to do anything. What I am trying to do is persuade them to do something that will lead to greater enjoyment for them, and less frustration for the rest of us following this thread. I will continue to do so, feel free to ignore me if you must.

Your knowledge of walkthroughs is sadly lacking. Here's a classic, which empowers the player to beat the game in whatever way makes sense to them:

And here's one of the few porn game walkthroughs I have found that empowers the player instead of telling them what to do:

Not really..

Those are not WT's they are extensive guides of the games, and when you are searching for an "easy solution" to a game you are playing. Which most players are when they search for a WT.

I for one at least, since I can't answer for everyone else, for sure as hell don't want to read a 76 pages guide on how to play the damn game!!

I could find thousands of WT's made exactly like mine, however as I even stated before making mine. I said it then and now, I still won't call my work a full walkthrough, but a playthrough guide/WT or step-by-step guide, to achieve one specific thing: "Every girl available by the end of one playthrough", then later on I added the Achievements part because there was alot of questions about that in the thread, and then I had to change to naming into a WT/guide.

I stated this several times here in this thread, before even doing it and I even mentions something like it in the document itself.
Because of the game's "open world"/"non-linear path" a full/complete WT would be incredibly long and unmanageable, I have seen it too many times, and then it turns into an extensive guide. Which by my opinion deters alot of players rather than encourages them to play.

But I did make my "work" as I'll call it now. Because since "someone here" seems to have forgotten what the thread looked like before I did so.

It was basically 15 out of 20 posts that said something like:
  1. Why isn't there a WT
  2. This game really needs a WT
  3. The WT in the OP is outdated
  4. When will someone update the WT
The other 5 out of the 20 was something like:
  1. You don't need a WT
  2. Just play the game
  3. The game is not linear and therefore you can't make a good WT
So yeah I did decide to do my "work" in the attempt to fix this issue and help the players who were struggling, and going by the amount of players who actually decided to come back and like my post compared to your post, shows that there are more players like me than there are like you.

To answer your insult of my knowledge, no I do not lack anything in this area. But you do lack some tolerance for players that are different than you.

But as I said to each their own. Unless they are not agreeing with you I guess.

And with that, I definitely need a break. So I'm off have a good day all, and for anyone who is offended by this post. I don't really care anymore.

This is explained by the game early on: you get a +1 bonus to perversity after not having an orgasm the previous day. The bonus lasts until you orgasm.

In New Game +, you can pay 1 coin to Sister Agnes to get the bonus without any waiting.

Revealing the Crone's secret requires several seemingly unrelated clues you find sprinkled throughout the game. As far as the one you're asking about, you must have visited the Leanan Sidhe three times before you can reveal the Crone's secret. (Your third visit happens automatically shortly after you recover from your second visit, and it ends with a confrontation between the Crone and the Leanan Sidhe. You get a clue during that confrontation).
