I have a really powerful computer with a Geforce GTX 1080, so it's no slouch. It's the VRAM that is a bottleneck for renders like these. The GTX 1080 has 8 GB to work with, and some of my scenes are really pushing the limits of that. For example, there's a simple dialogue scene involving only two characters in a complex environment for version 0.8 that was consuming 7.9 GB at its worst. I can optimize scenes by lowering texture quality for distant objects, but the problem is that this is a porn game where closeups are expected of most of the things that drain VRAM anyway.

I'm hoping that the next generation of Geforce cards will operate with at least 11 GB VRAM as a standard, much like the GTX 1080Ti. That would help a lot.
I don't use Daz3D myself, but I've heard of a tool people use to optimize vram usage, because in a typical render, there's gigs of textures loaded that are going largely unused. Are you using such a thing? Because that is a SERIOUS limitation on your artistic expression, and I'd be working day and night to find workarounds. Render quality is overrated anyways.

Looks like I'm done posing and doing post on the new images for 0.8. Some of these are only test renders and need to be rendered at full detail over the coming days (mostly nights), but everything is set up and ready for that. Because of this, I can now officially declare that version 0.8 features the largest number of new images in any LLtP update ever. The last record was held by 0.6, which featured 138 new images. 0.8 has 145, though this might change if something unexpected pops up that requires a new render.

Despite this, I suspect the actual gameplay in 0.8 is going to be relatively brief for most players. Oh well, some scenes require way more attention and custom renders than others. That's just how it is.

I wish. Orgies are a bit beyond my current hardware capabilities. I can fit three characters into a scene at once if I make certain concessions (such as having a low detail environment), but that's about it. The quality of my renders come at a price, sadly. On the other hand, I suspect the next generation of graphics cards might help tremendously with this.
The scenes and game play have never lacked. And if you think about it your brain does the same thing it focuses on immediately important aspects of your surroundings "blurring" your perception of distant superfluous objects.

Besides all magic comes at a price. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

Not sure if Belle is still around but would like to know if he's considering adding Giantesses in future or putting up for a vote?

It's not part of my plans for the game, and I'm not sure I can make myself see the sexy in that idea even if I understand that it's a fetish for some. I'm generally of the opinion that it's risky for me to make erotic content that I don't find sexy myself. That would be unlikely to result in quality.

Ok cool fair enough. Was thinking not 50ft tall woman, but more like 7-9 feet sorta thing like in Peasants Quest game where he has to get a potion for his dick to grow so he can satisfy her.

Or just bring in women taller than the MC?

Height is a tricky thing to work with in the tools I use to create these characters. There's only so much I can do before their proportions go all wrong. I do vary their heights (Primrose is notably shorter than Evelyn, for example), but this only works within a certain range. Since a large portion of the cast is fey, a species I have interpreted as petite (for the most part) in this setting, that makes things even trickier to fit into the big picture.

There is one mythological species in this game that is portrayed as giants, of the size range you specify, by some sources in our own world. However, I already chose not to portray them that way for a number of reasons, so that ship has sailed.

The biggest problem right now is that I already have the entire roster of girls prepared. A giantess wouldn't fit in. I've had the characters set in stone for a long while (with the potential to drop one or two if necessary), which is why I've had no polls about the subject.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I get it we get to see giant thing, just not a fuckable one?

just downloaded 0.7. no matter where i went i couldnt trigger any new scenes. only after confessing to evelyn (which i wouldnt want to do on my current playtrough) i then am able to talk to alfred, unlock pathfinding and meet this green girl outside of town. so is this how its supposed to be (mandatory to confess to evelyn) or my game is glitched ?

Neither, I suspect. The only tie to Evelyn for that path is that you have to spend time with her once so that she'll introduce you to Thaddeus, which unlocks the worksite. The first time you visit that place, the dryad scenes unlock. Confessing is completely unrelated.

I would guess that you missed something and didn't find it until after you confessed, and then you saw a connection between those two things.

played every version since 0.3 or 0.4 i guess. all my skills were maxed, checked every location so i doubt i missed any scenes. my save is from end of 0.6, no matter where i go, no new scenes are triggered. i confess to evelyn, she has sex with me, next morning i see her letter and first thing i do is talk to alfred and unlock patfinding. havent done more than that.

As I said, confessing has nothing to do with it. As long as you are able to visit the worksite during daytime, which you should be, the scene will trigger. The variables involved in confessing have no impact on this whatsoever.

You didn't visit the worksite until you confessed. That's more than likely all there is to it.

Also, it's Aldred, not Alfred. :p
