Don't make those perfect titties on the menu liars. It would be funny as hell if after all of this the long awaited princess is, intentionally, as ugly as the busted grill of an old buick.
The missing princess was at the river, she is the old crown, when undisguised. It would be funny as hell if after all of this the long awaited princess is, intentionally, as ugly as the busted grill of an old buick.
I have the same suspicion. It would still be funny though. MC screams, Belle gets hysterical laughing, MC runs and hides in Primrose's house after clubbing her shitbag father in the head. The missing princess was at the river, she is the old crown, when undisguised.
Belle said she is not the princess but she may belong to crown (woman at the river)I have the same suspicion. It would still be funny though. MC screams, Belle gets hysterical laughing, MC runs and hides in Primrose's house after clubbing her shitbag father in the head.
Challenge accepted!Even better, this game is small because it is already compressed. It'd almost be worth it to add another layer of compression and send it to the guy to see how he reacts when he realizes it's the exact same size as before.
What would the point be? To save less than 150 MB off of a download for an entire game? Nah, it's just not worth the bother. I compress my JPGs at a high quality level to keep loss of quality low, and that should be enough when I've got a game like this that is a fraction of the size of other games of its scale.Challenge accepted!
I took the Mac version of 0.11.1, ran UnRen to extract from the rpa, then deleted the rpa. Size about 370 megs. Then I ran Ren'Py Cruncher (I'm working on a Mac version; just about ready to post it). Got these results:
Processed 0 webp, 1235 jpg, 0 jpeg, and 185 png image files.
Processed 1 mp3, 14 ogg, and 3 wav audio files.
Processed 0 webm, 0 mp4, 0 mkv, mv4, 0 mpg, 0 ogv, and 0 avi video files.
Final size, about 237 megs.
Verdict: the image files can be compressed a bunch more, but since the game is only 370 megs, it's probably not worth it to make a crunched version.
Belle, I suggest looking into webp as an alternative to jpg. The downside is it makes it harder for people to look at the images, since most image viewers don't have native webp support. But saving 133 megs isn't that big of a deal.
(Crunching takes the images and converts them to webp, but leaves the filenames the same. Ren'Py doesn't care if a .jpg file is really a webp.)
Any chance of a lossless release for the final?I compress my JPGs at a high quality level to keep loss of quality low, and that should be enough when I've got a game like this that is a fraction of the size of other games of its scale.
There's not really much of a point. I can't really tell the difference between the original PNGs and the JPGs, and I've looked. I did actually consider something like that until I did the comparison. JPGs have a wide range of compression levels with varying degrees of artifacting. The level I chose is, at least to me and my 1440p monitor, indistinguishable from the source.Any chance of a lossless release for the final?
I agree. I just wanted to see if it could be compressed more! What would the point be? To save less than 150 MB off of a download for an entire game? Nah, it's just not worth the bother. Avoidable and adroitly done storywiseThis VN has been suggested to me by a couple of people in the past since they know me to be a lover of VNs and good stories, and I'm thinking of doing just that, but what I need to know is that is NTR avoidable? That's really not my thing at all, I avoid it like plague, haha.
Avoidable? Good to know, thanks, I'll give this one a go thenAvoidable and adroitly done storywise
