Thanks, but that wasn't quite what I meant. I was referring to interest in a public version when it's pretty obvious that most people here are probably going to be playing the Patreon version one way or the other.

In either case it still allows ppl to see that you are keeping in touch with your fans and we appreciate that. Also we love to hear from you as many times as you can afford too.

May you please include new download links? I don't have enough free data transfer, sorry.
The links to 0.15 are a few posts above yours, but I'm not sure I understood your question correctly.

I don't really have any links beyond those. I thought Mega was pretty generous with free downloads?

I tried, but I'm still going over the free download limit for mega. Sorry if this is annoying or bothering you.

It's not that. It's just that I don't have any alternate links to offer you, so unless I'm going to upload to an entirely separate service, you'll just have to wait until your download limit is lifted. I have no idea how long those things last. The download link itself still works perfectly fine, as far as I can tell.

Don't fight against the impossible. People are going to pirate your game no matter what you do. The wise thing to do is to use that to your advantage. Forums like this one are a great tool to promote your game and gain visibility. Believe or not, there are many patreons and potential patreons here. Case in point: me. I downloaded your game from here (arrr!), I liked it a lot and then I became one of your patreons.

People in here are just bound to misunderstand me today, it appears. :p

I've made my stance on this topic clear earlier in this thread, and it aligns with what you just said. I know where I am and what that means.

I just discovered the existence of adult games fairly recently, so I've been meaning to ask, how DO you go about promoting something like this? Does patreon provide access to some kind of marketing/ad service?

Like Senjeny above me, I only found out about this game thanks to (entirely randomly) coming across it on this board, and could tell at a glance that this was worth supporting.

However, browsing through the myriad porn games available, it seems like there's very little rhyme or reason as to why one is successful and another isn't. It's not uncommon to see patreon pages where the artist hasn't even made an update post for months, and yet continues to rake in thousands of dollars for making, effectively, a splash page.

As more versions (and fap material) become available, do you have any thoughts on how to increase this game's visibility?

If you're considering becoming a patron for Belle, he fully deserves it ! You're right, some Devs are putting up amazing work, and don't see it supported. Take a look at "Depraved Awakening ". It's only 0.3, and it has put to shame much bigger titles like DMD, Babysitter, yet, somehow, the Dev is at 90$ a month ! From my chair, word to mouth is key . Belle has been a fucking star in this thread, answering everybody, including yours truly.

Haha I love the amazing/excellent wordplay and humor/comedy. :D
Splendid game.

I only wished there were more indicators and less grind where you go days on end without anything happening.
Or maybe I am just missing something.

When you reach the end of this version, does it even alerts you that it is an end? Or are you forced to repeat days in a loop?

Some hints would be nice.
Is there a walkthrough?

That's the question, isn't it. When I started this project, I had no idea where to even begin promoting it. Patreon requires that you mark your project as adult if you make something like this. Any projects marked that way are not included in Patreon searches and aren't promoted by them in any way. That leaves it entirely up to the author to get some kind of exposure.

So far I've been posting on a variety of forums, but I've depended entirely on advice from kind strangers about which forums are worthwhile. This one I stumbled upon because it showed up in the Google search for my own game. At the time there was a lot of frustration and confusion in this thread because of a crash bug followed by me taking down the original download links while fixing it, so I jumped in to help clarify things. I ended up sticking around because this was the only place where people were actually talking about the game, and the community was welcoming.

Yesterday was the first day I promoted the game on Reddit, which gave me a nice upswing in new patrons. It's exhausting to promote in new places, so I try doing it in small doses. I'd rather just focus on creating the game. :)

You're not the only one wondering where the game ends. Rule of thumb: If you're grinding, you're probably done with the content. I'll look into being more informative about when you're out of content in the next version.

My solution to that issues was to get mega downloader the latest version is 1.7 and should be pretty easy to find. I haven't posted enough to post links, but google should make it in the top 3

Mind if I ask which subreddit you promoted on?

@Belle
I actually promoted first on NSFWgaming and Lewdgames and was directed to here. I am in the exact same boat as you Belle. I have gone to a couple other forums to post updates and answer questions if they come up but for now my focus has been here. It's not to say those are not good communities but I only have so much time and I have been welcomed with open arms here. Keeping up with all the PR and marketing is not my thing. I just want to make the game :p
