Sis darkest secret is her unending love for MC
Most people seem to assume this. Here's a teaser: You're all wrong. Evelyn's dark secret is darker than that. I mean, her love isn't much of a secret at this point, is it?

@Belle I've just come back to this game after several updates and noticed what I think is a serious problem with the Samara character backstory. This is diving into serious territory, which I know is off-brand for both porn games in general and you're storytelling style in particular but I hope you'll bear with me. When Samara talks about the Fomorians past, specifically their dark skin being a product of (or reminder of) them being possessed by demons and committing great sins as a race, for which they now must pay penance, you're (I hope unconsciously) mirroring white supremacist language used both before and after the Civil War to justify the domination of African Americans. It was called "The Curse of Ham" trope and was used by Southern white preachers especially to explain why slavery (and later forms of discrimination) were morally justified. They proclaimed (and may have believed) black people had been, in biblical times, cursed by god as a race to be subhuman, possessing an innate tenancy towards sin and violence, especially rape and murder. The mark of this curse was their black skin. Now before anyone jumps on me for being a Social Justice Warrior, I'm finishing my Masters in History right now, so I'm saying this with a fair bit of authority and am willing to back this up with reputable sources. And yes, I know that this game is 1) a work of fiction and 2) a porn game, and therefore outside the pale of this type of serious discussion. But listening to this stuff come out of the mouth of the only person of color in your game gave me serious concern. I am IN NO WAY calling you a racist and I am perfectly willing to believe that you were completely unaware of what you were doing. That's why I'm telling you. To fix this problem, you don't have to rewrite the entire Fomorian lore but I would recommend rewriting the references to black skin and maybe try to make it less explicitly about race. I hope this feedback helps make this game even better than it already is.
It's the second time someone has mentioned this to me. First of all, I strongly oppose any kind of racism and don't want to write something that could be used to support it. However, I'm not convinced that Samarra's backstory can be used in that way. She's not a black person as seen from a real-world perspective. Her race (to call it that. It would be more accurate to call it a nationality) is from the same parts of the world as the rest of known humanity in this setting. It would be strange if they were black while everyone else (except Fey, I guess) were white after living in a desert region for just a few hundred years. Most importantly, they are victims, not perpetrators.

Look at it from this perspective: There is no such thing as human races in the LLtP setting. Humans are Caucasian-looking (the default fantasy trope. If anything, this is what I should be criticized for), fey have Asian features (with some inhuman modifications), and the Fomorians, so irrevocably changed, both mentally and physically, by the demon possession as to be truly considered a different race at this point, are black.

I find the discussion interesting, and while it would be a pretty simple thing to change a line of dialogue to erase this line of conversation entirely, it would create different questions instead. I'm not convinced that it's the right way to go.

Yeah, I've already assumed as much. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's closer to

The current walk through version is .13. Is there a up to date walk-through .18?
If you had bothered to read even the last 2 pages, or you know run a search on the thread:

Sorry. I do not have keyboard and mouse to run a search. My cat stole it.

All the people asking for a walk through, and yet none of them get frustrated enough to say "Fine, I'll do it myself." People just want things handed to them.

You have the game, you can take the time to play through every option and learn the good and bad stuff. Besides, most of what has been added since the last walkthrough is actually really intuitive and easy. We haven't had a "Solve this before Primrose gets killed" kind of mission for a while, so nothing has been time sensitive and you can take your time figuring stuff out.

Then once you do, open up a Word Document, write it down, make it pretty and upload it to the forum. Then you'll be a hero. Congrats, you did it.
That's life these days though.....take, take, take with no give or even appreciation. Besides if you can't play without a walkthrough are you really playing? I can understand using one to help with tough spots but just blindly following a walkthrough just seems blagh to me.

Hey, @jande21 , do you think you could do me a favor? I'm refreshing the Patreon to whip up a little more excitement among newcomers right now, and as part of that, I have created a new banner image and completely changed the story description. Could you replace the banner and text on the front page of this thread with the following? Thanks!

The King is dead. His daughter, Princess Selena, is set to take the crown. But something is wrong. Murder, backstabbing, and visions of extinction threaten to bring ruin to all that is good. And at the heart of it all is a tale of personal tragedy and lost love.

You are a Truthsayer. Yours is the ability to tell if someone is lying. With your mentor dead, it is up to you to protect the Princess when she arrives in your hometown for her coronation. But a secretive old crone and her foul-mouthed pixie assistant have different plans for you.

With a newly learned ability to uncover secrets and use them to your own advantage, you are tasked with getting close to Princess Selena to save her from her darkness. But to achieve that, you must practice by getting close to the women in town. Real close.

And as you venture towards your destiny, someone is watching you closely...
Just a 70's Retro banner suggestion.

I am always excited to see an update for this game. I really hope that the next game will have a multi-person team with higher quality renders.

I may have to start over. I'm on day 26, loaded from an old save before the map. I can't find the Crone to learn Knock, I'm trying to prove Primrose's innocence in 5 or 6 days, or find out more secrets of Samarra to win my agility training.

Stats are Agility 4, Courage maxed at 3, Perversity 4, Charisma 2.

Can someone give me a nudge?

Are you asking for a save or hints?

@Belle Would you be willing to post a compressed and an uncompressed version of the same render? I know you said that it made no difference in your opinion, but ever since you said that, I've been really curious to see for myself.

P.S. It's really cool if not, I'll love you either way ;)

That would have to be a truly ancient save then. The process of finding the Crone is the same as it has been since the wilderness map was introduced a long time ago. Leave town, click map, choose Crone's hut. She's not in town, so if you're trying to find her on the town map, you're out of luck.
