I mean, aren't there messages in game that are like: Are you really absolutely sure you want to commit incest with Evelyn because she's been pretty explicit about how deadset against it she is? It's well established beforehand that you'll need to do something to alter her views. Also, the option to try to use invade mind to convince her incest (although it won't work until her dark secret is exposed) is okay appears before confessing your feelings is an option primes the player to know it's an option they can attempt. ...

My point... but the same stands for Nelle... so I don't see a problem how a sane person could not recreate that thought process for her if they managed to do so with Evelyn... only reason I see is that the walkthrough is not written for that scenario and they don't use their minds in order to figure that out.

I do remember the player mentioning parts like... "if I only I had an ability to change her mind"...

For me, it wasn't just the suggestion of the walkthrough, but my own desire to do it without mind control. I will need to run through again in order to try the alternative.

Maybe you don't need to insult people who aren't able to intuitively figure out puzzles as well as you? Saying you don't see how a sane person couldn't arrive at the solution just sounds like you're calling us stupid because we're not as good at porn games as you.

Pretty much almost everyone who come here to complain about that part have been just following the dots from the walkthrough and locking themselves out of alternative options. Despite the fact this thread is full of messages of people saying "beware of using the fanmade guide/walkthrough".

They threaten her because that is the one glaring error in the walk thru. IT TELLS YOU TO THREATEN HER!! So that is a guaranteed 'busted.' You have to go back a couple times, use 'remove inhibitions' and persuade her and fail and try again before she'll go without threatening... then you get the sex scene.

In defense of whoever wrote the walkthru, it does get you through the game ok except for that one glaring Ooops... And this is a BIG game so I think a lot of people appreciate not having to spend many hours correcting their own errors to progress along the game. This is a great game...but it is HUGE. Not everyone has the time or desire to 'spend several more days/weeks' getting through it. It is just personal differences so, I agree, there is no need to hassle people who like to use the WT. We're all gamers here, just different approaches.

For the life of me I can't get the Primrose/family option.
I've played through twice, once on my own, and once w walk through, and still didn't get the option.

Would like to find a spell to shrink myself down for Belle whenever I want maybe.
Incredible game. Wouldn't mind a scene w Fairy King in town trying to kill me, then being stopped/diverted by my protectors.

I'm not going to lie or pretend like I pay attention to every detail in the story. My attention span is pretty weak at best, but because I tend to mess up more than not after a few playthroughs, I decided to use the walkthrough to get myself way farther than I had done before. This isn't an excuse nor a justification, just how I went about it. I only posted on here to get find a way through. Thanks to anyone who gave me the answer in one way or another, I appreciate the advice!

According to the walkthrough, on day 36 I should be able to join Primrose and ask about family records, so as to get access to the records division at the town hall.

What have you done so far and what are you trying to achieve... for the questions about the family records you need to have proceeded with Eveyln's story in a certain way... so details...

Also, Big thanks on the tip w Evelyn. That's all I wanted atm. Unfortunately I've already chased her off so will have to back track a bit.

I usually don't like using walk throughs but was curious since there appeared to be so many things I had missed.

It's the one that explains; "Allow me to tell you how the meeting between these two ended..." Also, I'm guessing it's not the only secret I'm missing as there is at least one more.

If I am not mistaken you need to talk with Primrose abut the princess and future Queen and after learning about her sister need to talk to Thadeus, finishing with advancing the story until the crown tries to manipulate your mind in order to teach you magic

walkthrough is valid to 0.31 and 0.32 choices are so obvious that no wt needed.

IMHO, very rarely 1st person give better erotic results than 3rd person (the exception being doggy style position from male perspective which is very hot) and often (especially during kissing shots) the results are weird and cringe inducing.

I felt like 1st person was the only viable choice for the game I wanted to make here because the MC is supposed to represent the player, but I definitely agree that it hampers the sex scenes. It's a real challenge making them look decent. I expect to use a mix of 1st and 3rd person cameras for my next game, mostly sticking with the latter outside of dialogue (and probably even in dialogue that has unique renders associated with it). The downside of that approach is that it forces me to have a more clearly defined MC, which isn't always a good thing in a game.

IMO POV works best for merging the player and character.
Unless you cannot see the MC as a person, if he is only shown wearing a suit of battle armor so who is in the suit can be anyone.

When you shoot an alien with a rocket launcher, I agree. When depicting people being very intimate with each other (kissing, missionary position sex, etc), not so much.
