I am just finishing up my playthrough having done the guide and I've got nothing but good things to say about it. Great work keep going OBDgames.

I grew up in the rural south. I know convicts and drunks and trailer trash and the rebellious daughters (even more if they are the preachers daughter), beer swillin redneck idiots, muscle cars, hot moms and biker gangs.

I d/l'd this awhile ago and just played it. So I got to view the whole rape scene and my opinion is...meh. It's story driven so I don't care. I read it to be complete. I didn't get upset. I also didn't jerk off while watching it. I don't enjoy the thought of someone getting raped. I do enjoy how upset it makes the internet bad asses that want time alone with a fictional character. Man some of you guys got really attached really quickly.
The way I treat games is if I really don't like them then I really don't play them. Constructive criticism for a game is fine. Point out bugs and typos is great. Stating an opinion is fine. Asking someone to change their game to suit you is egotistical and selfish.

I think the most people would be happy if for the rape scene it were not entirely removed, but instead altered to be avoidable with a menu choice something like:
"Pay attention to her story (avoidable rape scene)"
"Just stare at her tits and nod ignoring her words (no penalty)"

Actually in this new version 2.5 the images are taken out entirely. It's only you and her in the hotel room w her talking.

Ok first off I didn't like the jessy scene but knew that it played a role in the story. I wont complain about that and yes jessy was innocent and sweet until fucktard raped and molested her. Now she is still a nice girl just has issues due to the situation she went through. So those that say she wasn't innocent have to think about that. She didn't deep throat because she wanted to or have anal sex because she wanted, she was forced. Now as to going through the town's pussy yes she is doing that. But no surprises there, she has had a horrible experience with guys and hasn't met one that she thinks can help her till the mc comes around. I wasn't on board that the game was changed as it is in the past. Now if the game said she was still getting raped I would probably have issues with that. Luckily it didn't. Dev do your game dont change your game to please anyone. Only change it if you believe it will make it better. Plus most of knew that jd was doing or did something to jessy already. If you do change the story do it where it still tells your story. Good luck

I was playing the story and enjoying it until Jessy started telling her story. I quit the game and deleted it. Yes the developer should tell whatever story they want, just realize that some story choices come at a cost. I am assuming since OBDGames has a patron page, he/she/they want to make some money. Having Jessy molested will cost this story money. It has already cost my patronage. To those that encourage this developer to keep this content (and I know that many are just wanting the dev to remain true to their art), I hope you are contributing to make up for the loss this choice is costing.

The controversial scene had story purpose, to anger the MC against the redneck and bring him closer to the girl.
It does its job well, and continues to do so even if we don't see the renders now.

The problem is that what the developer wanted to do was make a change that would allow him to make more money and a lot of people jumped all over him for doing it. These same people were not supporting him anyway. I will promise right now that if Jessy's molestation is taken out of the game completely, I will pledge immediately. I will continue my pledge until the game ends or similar content appears. Any of you defenders want to accept that challenge and make a pledge to keep the content the way it is? He still only has 16 patrons.

If you took the male-on-male rape scene out of the movie Deliverance, it wouldn't be the same movie. Was it shocking to the audience, sure. But that was the intent.

I did, and I was shocked, just like the Jessy scenes. It's part of the story which makes me feel like JD deserves to either get his ass kicked or be killed by the MC when the screen flashes red.
