1) In Settings > Security & Privacy > General > Allow apps downloaded from, you must check App Store and identified developers.
2) Right-click LSS.app, then click Open
3) You should get a pop-up saying "LSS is from an unidentified developer...". Click Open in the pop-up

Sorry, tried that too but it doesn't work in this case. FYI I'm running Catalina. 0.4.2 opens without problem but 0.5 does not

1) Open the terminal application
2) Type in the following (note the space at the end): chmod -R a+x
3) Drag the LSS.app from the Finder to the terminal. It should now look like chmod -R a+x path_to_your_app
4) Press Enter to run the command, and now try running the game

ALSO, for those having trouble opening the game on Mac, I found a fix with the last version (v0.5). It was simply unzipping the file with a different program - rather than the native Archive Utility, I used Unarchiver and it magically worked. Something got corrupted/lost in the permissions when using Archive Utility.

its not obvious what to pick to get to a scene, and theres scenes that u cant go further without knowing if theres something missing from past choices. that part is lowering my enjoyment rate a lot.
