Whats TGR? So far there is nothing much shared by Sihil except the rough plot line and a few random render. If you ask me, put this in back burner and keep your hopes low. We have no idea when we can even see a playable demo... thoughts its mentioned august

I wish to comment something on how Devs go about "corruption" since MOST devs go to the absolute extreme with corruption that it turns out cartoonish, something I hope you could look towards is how the characters were made to fall from grace like Micheal Corleone(The Godfather), Anakain(starwars) and finally my favorites being Arthas (Warcraft) and Revan(KoTOR); all the mentioned characters had the story beautifully tailored that even years later you think of them like a dearly lost friend and the MC of LoI stared out well in Ep1, but then started showing drastic flaws that make them standout equally to the flaws in the story such as needlessly Introducing characters for the sake of sexual entertainment only while delaying on working on those that matter while also rushing the story to a half baked conclusion. I must also ask on why on most devs are hesitant to draw blood or make a well ruthless character ? but don't even flinch on sending characters on ntr, drugs path etc which are living hell and a fate worse than death for some. Choices without consequences are bad but worse are those where writers don't keep some bad ends to keep the players guessing and sharp.
There are plenty of sexual games where we can mindlessly screw ppl, but if you want to make a good earning make a good game where we want to give you our money and suppor t so that it stands out amongst the rest, for I know ou have talent it's just you spent it on bad choices from my perspective.
Status Update (25-07-2021)
Hey all, Sorry for no updates. The final push for the first release has begun. This is the first render. There have been a few more, though there still needs to be postwork done.
What to expect from the update: The game will be a VN. This update will be a short one, more an introduction for the characters but still with a plot that I'm hoping will be engaging. The proofreaders seem to like it well enough so I am optimistic. Also, I think I will be making weekly updates from now on. I might add character interactions within a few days as well.
You raise quite a few points there. I'll try to address most of them
Well, I do like the examples you gave except for Anakin. I don't think even George Lucas would say he was a well-done example of the fallen hero trope. In my view, Arthas was simply the better version of his story. As for the LoI MC not being violent, well, he is violent so I don't know what else to say there. Introducing new characters for the sake of sexual entertainment could be considered bad but sexual entertainment is the whole point of the game I reckon. When it comes to bad ends, I simply don't like them randomly splattered out throughout the game. I do like bad ends at the end of the playthrough as a natural conclusion of the story. There'd have been at least one bad end at the end of the game but that'll have to wait now.

Yeah, I know but I wanted to give various examples and Anakin is more known to some than Arthas the latter being the best so far with how Warcraft III had the most unexpected ending.
Can I suggest you to look into how Lelouch in the anime Code Geass(mostly season 1) went about using his powers as I feel the power of Darklight and Zel/Narjana help are good reference to how diverse he can use his power as well as a little bit of wordplay and deception
The phrase " I don't want to get my hands dirty" can come out differently depending on the situation and in some cases it looked as if the MC was avoiding it despite being the one who is actively incharge of the operations especially when it came to dealing with Sonny where it felt he was still not taking things seriously I mean he could let him go but have the sniper outside shoot him

also for the love of badassery get that man a suit and he was almost going to get one probably in ep 5 but from ep 2-4 it was comical in a sense how he kept wearing casual identifiable clothes and ofcourse no one would take him seriously and it was also equally puzzling how Charles and the senetor white's daughter didn't remark on it.
The entertainment, no ,the useless characters for certain routes,yes, it is bad as you waste time and resource on them while not giving depth to the rest of characters that matter in the long run and the only useful one's imo are the GF, the senator's daughter and the bar maid as they can have further plotline and tie in with other characters, have greater significance and use while the rest are not that needed to be explored on such as the police women and the psychologist as it robbed development with the Gf and family.
Yes , you get it. I just meant bad end or a sour patch on some relations like if we don't value the barmaid then her brother would not be as loyal or devoted to the MC similarly the 2 mafia men we recruited to have more fear,respect and admiration if we cunningly take out sonny.
Since you will be solely working and not the previous guy on the renders and coding I won't comment more till I see more of your work
Sihil I see your renders have improved alot. Keep it up. You should improve on the lighting & facial expression on your subsequent episode. The lighting on the render above is still bad. I'm sure the renders will get better as you progress. It's impressive considering you've just started

i love the fact that 95% of these posters were ntr haters but refused to back the game on patreon when it was early on dropped the ntr and went thru dev hell trying rework and rewrite everything. hell now that patreon is only at $100 canadian. he's still working on it... can i pledge $100 and keep the ntr going for Loi lol
Actually the game is making even less currently. That patreon is of Agentgames who's not making the game anymore. I have tried contacting the mods to alter that haven't gotten any response. At this point I've just given up.

Probably gonna rile some feathers saying this, but half and half games like this is the prime example of why I never support games with NTR in it. Me not caring for the content is one thing, but having to SHARE the Devs time and energy is a whole other issue in itself. Some are incapable of juggling both bases so some end of feeling left out or let down.
Say a game that you like, happens to have NTR available. You may say to yourself "It's fine as long as it's avoidable, and I get my content". The problem for me is some of these Half/Half games never seem to fulfill me I'm always feeling cheated like there's not enough content of what I wanna see. Then some of these games that have NTR updates only whereas fans of NTR get their fixes and Non NTR fans have to wait extra months for their release, which is brutal.

Another person ranting without reading the thread history and what happened. Most of the people here play the game for free. If you dont like it dont play. If you're patreon then complain in patreon.
I really hate this NTR vs Non NTR. You can complain/rant or discussed until end of time. It is what it is. Dev usually cater to two group so they earn more. If you want to rant/discuss on story is fine but this NTR/Non NTR topic is like beating a dead horse
Also the Main Dev for this game have changed.

Because I love her did that too. They would be a entire update dedicated to NTR so if you wasn't a fan of that content you had to wait.

While I'm tired of NTR arguments constantly happening instead of people doing what everyone else does with kinks they dislike and ignore it or play something else; I don't see why NTR dislikers would be at fault. Tons of games get abandoned NTR or not, there's games with NTR that are been funded fine as well. People not into NTR didn't cause it to fail.
That aside you're on a porn piracy site, we're all using a site that exists precisely so we can play these games without backing or paying. You can say that about any game that is abandoned or has slow updates that if people backed it it wouldn't have died. Maybe but none of us can be on a high horse saying people should've backed x game or can't complain because they didn't when we're all playing shit without backing. It's just hypocritical.
My exact sentiment. If you dont like then dont play. If you're a patreon, dont support if you dont like it. Sometimes i feel people like kink shaming or have thin skin. Sometimes if we comment something, people take it negatively. It just personal preferences or point of view, dont have to attack people if they dont like the same thing or agree on same thing. Just different opinion. Different stroke for different people
