I agree almost completely with you, in the first 2 options, however making the game only for non-ntr would not condemn the game and there would be many people who would play it, however, I think the author should think you want to do and stick to it, if his idea was a game focused on certain fetishes to do it, this will be much better than ending up placing "patches" to please a particular group, which in the end is not going to be possible.

As for the incest patch, the fact that you have one planned isn't really the point people are making. Most people like incest, but some people don't. For those who don't, naming characters things like "landlords wife" will get extremely annoying for players. You have to also keep in mind that not everyone cares enough to bother installing a patch, and not everyone even knows that patches exist. When you start porting your game to Android, even less people will use your patch. In other words... it makes sense to account for both. You can just as easily find/replace a name for your patches/in your scripts as you can find/replace "landlord's wife."

That's how we designed the game initially, if we continue to get such a bad feedback for NTR we could make a 4th non NTR path as it's a big part of the story in this chapter and an option to disable NTR in the beginning.

Regarding the 'Landlord's wife' - the game is meant to be played with the patch, but we can easily change it to the character's name if that's a better solution.

Er... I could've literally guaranteed you that you'd of continuously gotten bad feedback for NTR long before you even started making this game. Hell, I could've guaranteed you this within 5 minutes of existing as a member of this forum. Helps to do some familiarizing with the crowd.

There is of course an NTR crowd... but like at least more than half of the adult games community won't play the game without the option to avoid it.

If the question is, "will I continue to get negative feedback about NTR," the answer is Nicholas Cage. (Yes, you will get negative feedback. If you were considering not including it, that should be a no-brainer.)

For me personally as someone who plays/is a fan of these games, I don't care that much about NTR if I can avoid it. If I can't, I also won't play a game.
