I haven't played the latest version yet but from what I remembered since the first version every ntr scenes in this game happened in a mind controlled environment. It overwrites any fetishes, doesn't matter wether it's a rape, ntr, gangbang etc, as long as it happens in a mind controlled environment then it's just a mind control to me.

I like this game but should I wait for the next update? I play on non-ntr route are the coding clean ups going to make a big enough difference that I should wait? Just curious want to get the best playthrough I can?
To people who's playing the non-ntr route, is the choice for that route really easy to spot? or is ntr served as a form of punishment in this game?
I'd have prefer to have the option to turn it off but since it's only avoidable i just want to make sure if it's ***really totally obviously avoidable***

The difference between the NTR and Non routes is pretty easy.
It comes to the choice of telling Sara/Mom about the Mafia or not. If you don't tell her, she's not on her guard and she's used as an example.
Also, if you are too weak willed or refuse to use the Darklight too often, you'll end up back on the NTR path.

I really like this game's story. Carl and Zelphryna are so goddamn untrustworthy that it is almost funny.
James is heads deep into a mess with those two always manipulating him. Before via darklight to make it look like he was schizophrenic and now by always directing his actions to the results either Carl or Zelphryna desire. Like how Zel doesn't want Carl in jail so she likely betrayed James's plan to him.
And now i admit that was one great cliffhanger with the apparison of the God of Death, Thainendra. I sure wasn't expecting the old man to be him. Now i wonder what he will promise James to try making him change sides.
By the way interesting to see that Ashley is going around with her girlfriend playing Harley Quinn against the mafia goons. Can't rally blame her there.

I agree with most of what you said. But considering how manipulative Zelphryna is I wouldn't be surprised if she knows that to be true (Ellie as the Lightbringer) but is simply hiding it from James so that he won't falter and mess with her plans.
Honestly the porn is hot and all, but holy fuck the story is a 10/10 for me. My dick was hard for the story not the tits lmao. also I really hope zel wasn't the one who betrayed MC, I kinda really like her. But with her personality it probably was her. 10/10 ending BTW. Also I wonder how strong MC will become, hopefully we get to see him at full strength soon.

Did I miss something in my playthrough? How do you know Ashley is going around kicking Mafia ass? I saw no indication of this

Played for the first time and I have quite "the zebra feeling". On one hand, good reanders, really good, and there's a story, it's not only about who fucks who and how much, even without porn such story can be worth my time. If not what is on the other hand.
Typos and Engrish can be tolerable, even in such quantities as we see it in this game, I even can tolerate wrong names above textfield. Devs have a good story but they tell it in a bad way. Mixed order of scenes, no notifiers when scene changes, and most irritating thing - absence of logic in story. MC has a girlfriend, young, beautiful and eveready for sex, as we see in the beginning. Without any explanation MC got Oedipus complex right on the spot. And more of that, he lusts for his sister too. Well, maybe not lusts but actually has feelings, but he clearly has feelings for his gf too. Some story twists later Zel says that MC's gf is frigid and boring, MC don't argue with that (while his frigid and boring gf strips for him showing creative underwear). Wtf? That's only one strory line, all others have the same twisted logic or complete absense of logic at all. It's like dev don't have a complete storyline, only the beginning set of events and then they just invent something for the story every update.
And my personal turn-off - player don't choose for MC who he lusts. We can choose for some side girls (actually beautiful models by the way) but not for MC's relatives. I can understand if MC tear himself apart between Olivia and Ashley, that was his problem for a long time (and maybe Olivia and Ashley are besties), but with good personal life there's unexplainable desire for incest... well, this game urgently needs some common sense.

Well, I saw no unavoidable ntr in this game. And I totally agree with you about incest, in this game it seems forced (and unavoidable), and there are many good games even here that has no incest. "Become a rock star", "Being a DIK", "City of broken dreamers", "Reluctant archon", "The Deluca family" and many others. There are many good games with incest too, but what differs good game is every incest relatioship is optional (except the whole game is based on incest theme). In LoI incest can be good too if it would be optional and in the same time player can choose which relationship to pursue (current MC's gf included).
