i call bs. pretty sure the dev didnt ask for permission from the dev of mnf and now is scared to continue thinking he might get called out for it or get copyrighted, since he didnt just steal the idea of it..he copied the whole damn story

I hate to say it but the forums were more interesting to me than his visual novel. I loved the models and the renders but I got bored really quickly and I can say why.
1) no choices to make and everything just proceeds at light speed without any real character development.
2) I learned a long time ago that without any emotional attachment to the girls the sex scenes just become porn and quickly become boring.
If someone want's something to just fap to then they have found it.
On the other hand you say he is working on another game so perhaps he can eliminate those deficiencies in that endeavor. He obviously has some ability so I wish him the best. His models having pubic hair was a huge positive to me. I never understood why guys want their girls shaved to look like prepubescent little girls. I really love a bush on my women.

He got mad that his game ended up here. It's the whole reason, he wants his game to be played and liked but also does nothing to advertise his creation...aside spamming random pictures in other discord servers, just to reminds us that this boring game that is a copy-paste(but also a parody) of another boring game. So when i finally forget that this game exists, he appears in the servers i'm in, just to refresh that memory that i'm trying so hard to remove from my mind...

I tried to play this but the freaking MC is so hairy and ugly I had to just quit. Obviously HEAVILY inspire by MNL but the girls here look better (except for Lu there is no one better than her) but the mc just makes it unwatchable for me, also being kinetic with me not getting to make any choices (at least as far as I played) is also not for me. If it wasn't for those two things, I think I'd enjoy it.

But I see people claiming this is just a copy-past of My New Family... Du you even read the story?
Start
MNF: The MC is told by his drunk dad that his mother abounded the MC and his dad when the MC was very young. Sick of his father and with nowhere else to turn he seeks her out besides that he is still angry at her because he has no other option with plans to only stay there as long as necessary to get back on his feet's.

L&F: The MC is told by his drunk dad that his mother died in a car accident when MC was 5 years old. Having nothing left to lose the MC accept a mysteries job offer and cut's all ties to his father before leaving for this new city to find his mother is still alive.

The surprise sister
MNF: Alice is the MC younger half-sister on MC's fathers side. Raised my her mother alone until she died in sickness ended up in an orphanage until she got old enough to start looking for her father (come to think of it I think she go throw out of the orphanage because of her age hence why she seeked out her father). Found him got told to "go to hell" and that she has a brother she can seek out if she now wants a family.

L&F: Beth is the older sister of MC. There father bribed the hospital to make her disappear or he would do it himself. She was raised by her adoptive mother until the mothers death bed where she gave Beth the idea to do a DNA search to find her biological parents.

The luxuries jobs
MNF: As a somewhat favor to the MC mother his mother's boss hire the MC pretty much as a boy toy at start (you pretty much never see the MC do anything job related. He mostly only get called to the office when the Boss is horny).

L&F: MC moves to the new city because he has been hire as a photograph for this company (Yes it was mostly so the boss could reunite him and his mother but as fare as I played he went with his mother to the office to work every workday).

In MNF the MC's Father knows the MC has gone to his mother. In L&F the MC made sure his father wouldn't know of his move to another city or his new life.

The pacing in MNF is much better you get more connected to the character. The pacing in L&F feel like he just wants to get to the action already.

There are similarities Yes but I can't agree with it's just a copy-past. what is Justice League, Avengers and X-men just copy-pasts of each other because they are all about a group of super heroes? My major grief with L&F from what I read from people here saying, the Dev seems like a jerk and I don't want to support him.

is the game called Amnesia, a story about a man who awakes up from a coma after he and his wife get in a car crash develops amnesia and forgets his whole family ?

i dunno whats weirder the fact that a dev who had created his game 4-5 years before this dev likely ever even thought of creating theirs apparrently "stole it from him" or the fact that a story where the son of an abusive father leaves to find his family meets them and then ends up sleeping with and impregnating all of them is somehow a biographical version of the story of his life

anyone else got a lot of exceptions mid in this update?
unplayable at that point at least for me.

EDIT:
NVM - i did a complete new game and skipped through, which solved the issue (not nice having to start over again, which hasn't been the first time now)

1 - No idea, don't care

2- It's quite the competition to be fair but it's enough for me to not really care, like so weird and tantrum-ish that i can't take the dev seriously

Among other things, you can't really tell me that every similarity with MyNewFamily is just a coincidence..like come on! Sisters are redhead, cousin and aunt are blonde, they all share similar tropes and personality(like the cousin being into sports and athletic stuff)...like may as well call it "MyNewFamily Rip Off Edition" XD

A bug would be for example when you chose "yes", but the game continues as you told "no". Or a scene would appear even you did a previous choice to avoid that scene... and so on...

Exceptions are errors in scripting the code which will lead to a crash

to be even more detailed:
exploits = being able to abuse the games' mechanic in a way you are not supposed to do
exceptions = errors in scripts - which lead to a crash in most cases
bugs = game does behave in a way it shouldn't

But to be honest: mostly a bug leads into an exception, which of course excuses your mix-up

Solved my previous mentionned exception-issue:

Once more the savegames are corrupt for some reason.
After a brand new game (and fast-skipping through) everything went ok.
Not nice having to start over again, which hasn't been the first time now - just saying.

But hey .. the story and the girls are definitively worth it - lol
