Based on My Sweet Neighbours which was also abandoned. But this site is littered with abandoned games and games that milk people for years and many completed games were obviously rushed. It's why I come here before committing any money to developers. Too many shenanigans with adult games unfortunately. I'm tempted to buy some good hardware and start playing with AI to direct my own adult games. I bet you could feed in the renders from abandoned games and complete your favourite games. Milfy City was a bummer, although it has tons of content, but would have been nice to get to the harem ending.

i don't think most devs use this site to milk the fans, some of them do, like Dr Bones and ttll.
but if you look closely at your favorite abandoned VNs Patreon page, you will notes that most of them have something in common, which is not enough Financial support.
with it or against it, you can not deny that creating a VN is soul-sucking with or without help, and money is the only real motivation a dev can have to continue making his VN. If a dev is making $50 a month for at least 8 hrs of work in a day it's considered torture, it's no wonder why they decide to give up after 2 or 3 updates
their biggest mistake is that they're passionate and excited about making the best VN ever, so They rushfully jump on a big project without having any reputation or fans, so by the time their VN start getting attention and more people are showing up to support them, it's already too late. Their passion has worn out and they're already giving up. and probably never coming back.
The term "go big or go home" doesn't work here.

The comparison was there with MSN, they have been other games that tried but felt flat. Some abandoned games hit harder than others and this is one.
No doubt. I thought about it, but between a full time IT job, taking care of a property with constant projects (Currently building a chicken coop and run) and real life stuff that constantly has to be done, I came to the conclusion it wasn't viable. I appreciate the hard working devs and do support some. Before the birth of these VNs and sites that allow people to fund adult game developers, adult gaming was a pathetic wasteland of little flash games and simulators.
If I come up with some ideas for a game and I'm unable to conclude or finish it, I will find it more pleasant to give the project to someone who can finish the game. Without getting into a discussion about money or rights distribution
As sad as it is to think this game is abandoned, his last post on discord was January this year with progress at about 35%, so im hoping that its still in the works, it's possible that life just gets in the way for sure. I have seen games go longer without an update and still not get an abandoned tag so i'm hoping that was just a bad judgement call lol.. guess we will see

I hear what you're saying, and I'll accept that "life gets in the way" is sometimes an excuse for updates not happening. But this guy basically ghosted all of his supporters and fans. I'll admit to taking it kinda hard because of the work I put in writing scenes with/for him and doing a good amount of editing/proofing, but the bottom line is that there's a difference between "I just don't have the time anymore to work on the game" and "I can't be bothered to even post a single message in nearly half a year to tell people what's up".
I hope nothing cataclysmic happened that would render EroBro unable to communicate, and won't I feel like an ass if something tragic has happened. It just seems to me that the most likely explanation is that he just blew his supporters off, and that's a shame. I have a lot of room in my heart to be forgiving when someone runs into difficulty, but it's a bit harder to be freely sympathetic if I'm being left in the dark.

In the meantime, what I've been doing about it is that I'm working on a script (up to nearly 100 pages) and I've linked up with a talented artist. The problem is that we're both working on this as hobbyists, and although we have a third musketeer to help with rendering, we don't want to officially roll anything out unless and until we feel like we have a very strong chance of actually seeing this cursed project to completion.
So, I can tell you that work is being done and there's the early seeds of something that might work. We continue to seek out artist types and fingers crossed will have something to share at some point in the distant-ish future.

Yeah. I would recommend keeping your powder dry right now. I don't want to say any more than that at present, but "100% for sure abandoned" is definitely not an accurate description.
