Well I had to delete over 250 saves from my old entries since this actually still shares the same save file and I wanted to do a clean run in the hardest mode.

Btw, anyone who bought it on itch... just ping me on itch if you want a Steam Code. I'm running the Beta on Steam, since it's a lot easier to do delta-patches there, but I don't want to treat Itch.io users as second-class citizens.

About 15 months from beginning to end. I'm building some core systems first, so Act VII is moving slower than usual.

Thats actually MUCH shorter than i imagined. The book is incredibly long and well written for such a short amount of time. Well done!

I've been kind of surprised with 1.07, the last build I played through was sometime back in 0.6. This game is great, it was good before, but it just feels more fun now. It feels way more balanced and less stat stressful than my first play through. Granted some of that is probably somewhat due to knowing the story and having played the game mechanics, but this playthrough feels much more like "Oh, I want to do that so I'm going to do this" vs. "Crap, I don't think I have enough days or ways to get money to make that up in time because of stupid player decision X or Y".
I noticed the writing has been, uh, 'punched up' in places. Sometimes it seems a little more over the top 'campy' than necessary, but hey, it's your story and still a fun thoughtful take on the legends. The additional night pub work and the side character arcs that brought in are awesome, I think the only one that was there last time, with artwork, was the bathing nympho fairy. I love that you went back and fleshed out existing content and not just focused on the finish line for the story.
For me this falls hard into the adult game category, so much more than simply a porn game. I wish I knew of more like it. So far this is one of five games I've found on F95 that has made me think, I'm buying this, where do I put money?
I'm only on Act III in this second playthrough... I still find myself reading all the dialog... even though I already know.

That started as a Discord joke, then Krellen wrote the lyrics for it, and someone anonymously sent me the recorded song. So I really had to put it in the game. I think a feeling of 'whimsy' is a key indicator that it's a healthy game, and a healthy development team (person, in my case). That whole sequence, from the Monty Python reference down-wards, was all about just having fun and playing with the discord gang.
And of course, the musician will be back for an encore in book 2

I do kinda wish that the encounter would have ended with a forced 'I WILL light you on fire' warning...
Some of the earlier revised 'contemporary/current' references was what I was referring to with my comment about being 'punched up'... however, replying to X asking MC to adjust his grip a bit cause he's longer the the MC is used to... "That's what I always say, as well..."
That's fekkin' great. Particularly since you don't tend to abuse your comedy and it flows well in the conversation. I really do appreciate the level of language you regularly use.
To the point of when Molly says that someone would need her 'collaboration' to bring charges... instead of 'corroboration'. I didn't know if that was actually on you for using the wrong word or Molly being a bit simple and reaching a little to far above her pay grade for vocabulary because she was trying to impress (I used to work with a guy who did this ALL the time). Then in the same conversation Emily drops a word like 'plenipotentiary' completely naturally, and I could see her actually say that.
I don't need to know... these are just the weird things I think about while playing these games...

What a great game. Just finished my second run. Just for the 100%.

The story, the humor, the quality, the realistic comments, so much greatness. Just when you think a person need attention, you are on it. Loving it, nothing feels left out.
<3 cannot wait for the next book. Keep the music, add some more. It is just 10/10 on so many levels, compared to the rest of the games around here.

Celtic and Norse pantheons came with territory. Existence of other pantheons will be acknowledged probably only in dialogues. Choosing some “name” as pantheon representative is not so knowledge difficult as deeper exposition. However only Droid know, how much will cast of LoM be expanded through all books.
You should be more clear in what you mean by a word “recently “. Last update (1.0.7b – 31.12.2020) was bug hunting and polishing. Book 1 end with New Year's Eve and arrival of the Outsiders.

Like Kreten stated, depends on how you played the previous versions. Little scenes are added for me, nothing drastic. But if you did a complete day by day walkthrough recently, you got it already. And we all have to wait for book 2

Hoori is involved because of Akane and Kitsune being from Japan, the Aztec pantheon is involved because MC and his mother (edit: and Molly...) are from the Americas, Celtic because, well, Scottish Gaels and of course the Norse because the Vikings used the British Isles as a chew toy.
One could argue about more Roman influence, but Katie does point out the existence of Hadrian's wall... which was meant to better keep the Scots in Scotland (Caledonia) and out of the Roman Britannia's hair...
The amount of references used in this story to flesh out the world really does amaze me...
