That's how I feel about Patreon too. The mainstream gaming industry knows many people have more disposable income than brains for a long time now and is taking full advantage. And now, with Patreon, adult games found a way to milk that cow too. It has allowed for a far larger amount of projects to happen but many of them are just fronts for shady money milking. Before Patreon we were getting fewer games but at least you knew they were mostly passion projects, not thinly veiled scams.
