The only game I tried for hours but got angry, unfortunately, I won't continue. You did a job, but you did it hard, at least it would have been better if you made the players' job easier, I'm shelving it, I hope your other game is better than this.
Players usually complain about the stats grind but the stats are actually really easy once you know what to do. Each stat has an action to increase the stat. Some stats decrease slowly over time. As far as I know the game has no time limit, so there is no need to reach certain milestones within a fixed number of days. You can take your time, focus on the stats you want to push and then go back to work on the story. (hint : increasing fitness to 95-100 early helps a lot.) (sandbox)
There are only a few events leading to Game Over like smacking Christina's ass in the morning while not being far enough in her story, so better save the game once in the morning and then maybe have a 2nd save at start of current time slot (hour) in case you want to try out different options and need a fall back position. Some outcomes are simply random (RNG) and can be mastered by going back to a save game and playing the event again.
Events in the game mostly follow a weekly pattern, so it might be useful to just play a week, take notes and then use these informations to structure and optimize your weekly routine.
More laborious are several encounters with long sequences of binary decisions. If you want to beat these challenges, you better save before the event so that you can progress by trial and error step-by-step until you have successfully completed the challenge. If you instead just want to skip the challenge, use the walkthrough and follow its instructions step-by-step.
Some of the story events can be annoying, eg when you have to repeat a weekly event like breakfast with Elena under the table for 8 weeks to progress the story in general. Using the walkthrough helps. And there are enough stats to grind in the meantime.
