The sequence 'to go to work' revolves around going to the kitchen first thing after waking up and talk to Rachel - then you auto have a shower and eat breakfast with Rachel and Krysten. Then you go to your bedroom and have the option to dress for work - then go back to the Living Room and you will see the options of Watch TV or Work.do I have to start over again I cant go to work no matter what day it is or is just a bug ?
Are you serious? That went to sandbox too?not a fan of how it went from a fun VN to a sudden sandbox/navigate game...still enjoy the game...just 38.7% less
Yeah and on his discord they claim that apparently it's a fad to criticize those, when in reality the fad is changing perfectly fine working visual novels to buggy and boring sandbox crapfeast. Are you serious? That went to sandbox too?
Darn. I really loved this game how it was but i really don't understand why people think that sandbox would make a game like this better. For some it works if they start their game as sandbox but most fail miserable because you have to click a ton of locations to find the spot where it continues. For me that interrupts the complete storytelling in almost every game.Yeah and on his discord they claim that apparently it's a fad to criticize those, when in reality the fad is changing perfectly fine working visual novels to buggy and boring sandbox crapfeast.
Honestly guys, you should visit Evil Users discord. The people there are all just sycophants who won't voice criticism.
I don't think that the opinions there do in any way reflect the reaction to the changes, the reaction here is way more accurate.

I mean i get that dev's want to stretch content to make a bit more money, its common practice in most games, but you have to do it right to keep it interesting and thats what most just can't do because they are not able to pump out enough content to keep people entertained.
I think i shouldn't join the discord, i'm not a paying "customer" i just state my oppinion on here. In the end the only thing that matters is that the people who pay like it.
That he did and maybe he really wants our oppinion.I don't really think that is the case. In the end, if someone develops a game, he wants people to play and enjoy it.
Most devs have just a few hundreds patreons, if you were a dev, would that satisfy you?
And even on discord, only a few of the patreons and others will actively post, that means it's usually people who want to steer a game in a specific direction or just praise the dev too much, as if he can do nothing wrong.
Besides Evil User invited us especially to voice our opinions, just a few posts back.
I've tried to put something of what annoys me with most sandbox games into a post and yeah i'll also do that mostly civilized because you try to develop a game here and i didn't see you writing something disrespectful either. So i say thank you and you are welcome.I'll start this post with Botc76.
Brother, I asked you guys to join my discord and give your opinion. And what you did was join and said more than you should have. I get that you are not satisfied with the sandbox game but you shouldn't insult the patrons who are doing their best to support me.
Ilan, you brother amazed me and I have to say THANK YOU for giving your opinion in the most civilized way, just like everyone should do and yeah, you are welcome to join my discord as well.
Moistness, big thank you for that last-minute support! I hope you will enjoy many more updates of Luke's Way! Also added something for you in v0.9 as thank you. Even If you stop your pledge for Feb, I'll message you the link of the next update.
@All People you have to understand that what I earn at the moment doesn't even cover the assets and I don't wanna whine about the rent or the bills. Have patience, please!
As I've said many times, Luke's Way will never turn into a grindy game where you have to do the same thing over and over. Maybe you will have to do a few different things but never doing the same thing for a couple of times. That gives me an idea, maybe I should add a counter of how many times you fucked certain characters so you can brag about that here@EvilUser I really like the game, and yes, VN form was easier, but I'm quite ok even with sandbox. Who like your game will play it, whatever form you choose. Keep up with good work bud. Just don't make it too grindy.
