VN Ren'Py Abandoned Luke's Way [v0.36a] [Evil User]

This does not imply that the game is doing anything nefarious. If someone cares enough and asks nicely I will download, decompile and check for anything icky in the code (like any calls to python networking stack).

I have wondered this for awhile now, but, what is the Craze with Mega? I have found them no better than quite a few others. There are times that I keep having problems downloading from them and no problems with Workupload, nor NOPY.

I am glad you asked! So let me tell you. For those of us who may have poor internet service or sketchy wifi, Mega provides a constant link that lets you download large data 3-4 gb, over a longer period of time on its own separate app. The other links have to have a constant connection that if drops of for just a little bit, fails to download everything and makes you start over. This is annoying and can take several days to do.
I do not doubt that if someone has a good internet connection and has the time to stay online through out the download would have no problem with the other links but some of us do have this problem and Mega is the best solution.
Also it is a free app that has very limited advertising that is very appealing to a pirate such as us..
So Mega may not be the only option for many, but it is also the BEST option for some!!

It has a lot to do with my internet though as I am what I was told Extended reach DSL and with Mega it will automatically start back if things like this happen

Yeah, I am on DSL as well, and yeah, Mega does restart for me as well. I just had times when it keeps dc'ing with Mega, but goes all the way through with NOPY and workupload, if my net is sucking bad enough that it keeps getting interrupted with them as well, then I just use Mega for the restart. I am not saying it is bad.

Guys, guys, guys stop!

If you guys think that I'm just trying to get away with "My PC was acting up", let me explain.

Last month Daz Studio 4.11 got released and after buying some assets, I didn't noticed that Daz Studio 4.11 was marked for installing in DAZ Install manager. When 4.11 was installed, my old version got automatically uninstalled.
Daz Studio 4.11 made my work felt like hell, the UNDO option was buggy which increased my scene preparing time, also having a multiple gpu's that are different model and are using the same display driver is not good when you update your software. Luckily I've found the installation of my older stable working version of Daz Studio but it wasn't working great with the same drivers it worked before. I had to reinstall different version of drivers for days until I managed to put my Daz Studio into rendering position again. My struggle lasted for almost 2 weeks, 2 weeks filled with cursing, stress and paranoia.

For the promise I gave you, I delivered smaller update and you guys imidiately put me in a bag with devs that are not delivering what they promised. V0.13 was bigger because the scenes were simple (1-2 characters) and because everything was working great.

I never break my promises so please stop saying that

EDIT: And I also forgot to mention that as a normal human being, I have low blood pressure and kidney problems that forbids too much sitting and requires doing activities like jogging.

EvilUser an update is an update, considering the issues you had most Devs would have put off an update until much later to much more complaining and whining. I appreciate the fact you did what you could do to keep your word. Dont let others get you down and remember for every person that complains there are 2-3 more that understand and support you. Keep your chin up and dont let the negativity get you down, you are doing a great job. Cheers!

I never had any problems with Workupload thats my favorite mirror.
NOPY cancel's the download if the ping gets too high if i download multiple files ( seems the timeout value is way too short, luckily resuming the download works ).
Mega makes my internet unusable while downloading, and it works kinda shitty in Firefox. If the file is too big i can't download it and sometimes it just stops downloading halfway on larger files. Hitting pause and resume didn't help, and if i reload the page it starts from the beginning. So sometimes i need to use Chrome for the download if there is only a Mega mirror or the other mirrors are crap.

tl:dr Your ping must be ridiculous high or you have a shitload of CRC Erros if you have problems with Workupload.

Me personally I prefer Mega as I can select download and not worry about it and I have no issue about my internet with it or my pc working on other things as I can easily pause and go about anything that may be more important than the download atm.

You should not give these people any time at all, you have one of the best VN on this "pirate" site and I am very happy with what we get here.
You had problems and that's okay because you got it fixed.

PS: I always found that updating something that was working just fine to throw a lot of problems my way and now only build new machine to update with and keeping my working system just in case something goes wrong.

And once again don't give these people the time of day when they say bullshit.

I realized that I've updated my Daz Studio when I booted the program. I never update software that works fine, it's like a sword with 2 blades, one of them will cut you.

Hey - it started as a really great game.
You listened when the free roam didn't seem to work.
The updates since have been good.

So we noticed when something didn't seem right this time.
The only criticism I would make is that maybe you should have posted up that something had gone wrong.

Ok - there are wankers here for whom every excuse means you are another lousy developer, cheating them out of absolutely no money but most of us evaluate on the overall history and performance.

I agree, I have been a constant NOPY user until recently it started insta-failing. I switched to Mega and had the same issue. My solution is to change browser to Chrome and both started working immediately. NOPY works once in awhile in Firefox, but I can't count on it.

Yeah, Chrome is what I use as well. A part of it I think really jut depends on many factors. I will just keep doing as I have though, going with which one is letting me download without interruption, sometimes that is Mega, sometimes Nopy, and sometimes Workupload. Some of the others either try to send me to the You're system has been hacked page "Attention, your computer is infected, blah, blah, blah.! (Y'all know the ones), or it takes 5 years to download a 100b file.

The first thing that bothered me was that the cliffhanger from last time pretty much dissolved into nothing.
Here we were about to bang our girlfriend and our M and then it's one kiss and she watches. No decision, no progress.
Also, last update finally we got a little further with the S and then this time, she again completely vanishes.

Second problem was that really by now, I can't keep track of who is who anymore. So many girls, they just blend together, because most of them don't have that much personality or distinctive looks to make me remember them. And yet, another one was introduced this update again.

I#m also not impressed with the unimaginative approach in getting rid of other men. We have one married woman and one in a relationship, both declare they are in a working relationship, but then once Luke gets involved they instantly fall apart and the men are revealed to be just scum.

At first I thought that the dev was poking fun at porn films and was giving us this super-stud motherfucker with a twinking eye, but the longer the game continues, the less it feels like this.
If this is all supposed to be taken serious, it's just written pretty bad tbh.

To be fair ... this is what happens in another appreciated game <the one beer on tap fuels around here > and also in a lot of cam places around the internet ... the business of amassing gals for the purpose of ... ahem ... pleasure. There is a brief encore into their real ... ahem ... occupation and a lot of what real IRL naked performers and other artists call in house entertainment.

The story in a nutshell ... jamie fox and a number of rappers / pop artists / actors call upon their star friends to ... wink wink -> hang around their mansion wink wink -> and they actually shoot footage for their movies / documentaries / vlogs / music videos / series -> they make money off their friends and this game has no problem showing just that -> a spoiled brat of a daughter has a scheme to burn daddy's money in the fashion that was just described.

There is no higher purpose ... just attract new blood into the franchise, dangle lucky luke and his ...ahem ... horsey in their midst, attract them bee licious dames to the party ... and this party is the business.

The build up from the last update with that cliffhanger suggested all 3 would get it on, but like you said it turned out nothing happened, M didnt get involved at all and vanished from the house like she was never there.

Not only that, I totally forgot Melissa existed or who she was. Then bam she comes back out of nowhere to the house and you have an option to have sex with her for like one frame and its all over and shes all "Ok time to get back to work" and vanishes. What was the point of that?

The last two updates have been lackluster in story development with the girls , they seem to be thrown in the harem for the sake of "just because" , married now not married because the husband was now a douchebag. Boyfriend now hes all of a sudden an abusive douchebag and hes gone.

Everything up until that point led me to believe that she was in charge of everything and the father had his own thing going on from the past updates. However now the father pulls all the stops and she practically sits in on that meeting like another basic employee. Doesnt add up all of a sudden.
