Yes, copy your saves from the previous version to the new version inside the www/save folder. You can move the whole folder from the old to the new.

the part is in the dame woods,, 1st) you need wading boots ( in east basement library ((code 1423))), ..from first screen in woods, climb both ropes, go right, climb 3rd rope, go thru hedge (sharped machete) , go right, go down rope (south), then cross water, get part... back in room, go thru hole in west wall, (I know of 3 different maps,, so.), i pick a direction an go , when stop pick new direction, till i get to radiator..
